try offering your bits and pieces on your local Freecycle.

You would be amazed at what other people can make use of.

I had a canvas garden umbrella with a rip in it so i offered it on freecycle and a lady snapped it up as her brother is a sail maker and she had it refurbished and in the garden in a day and sent me a lovely photograph of it in situ.

I've cleared 2 houses for my dad and m-I-l and almost nothing went to the tip, some things I free cycled, some went to a furniture warehouse run by a hospice group, others to a local womens refuge ,some things went to Oxfam, some for cloth or shoe recycling - yes a few things did come home with me like my Dads garden bench which we gave him - but virtually nothing in the bin.

QUOTE=dipdap;65050731]I think I need the elites help :o
DH is taking a car full of stuff to the tip and I'm fretting over what's in the car :o
The main thing I'm getting worked up over is DS2s smart trike.
He has one of the smart trike scooters (they retail for over a hundred quid new, yeah like I paid that for it!!) and we still have the scooter element of it,its just DH is taking away all the add on bits that make it suitable from 6 months old. DS2 isnt a baby anymore so they're really not needed.
I just find it hard to throw away anything that may be useful to someone else. I know I could keep the bits and pass the entire scooter set on to someone else in a year when DS is done with it, but that's a year away and the bits are big and bulky and a pain to store and we need to declutter this house :(
I need an elite kick up the bum to make me see sense I think :([/QUOTE]

Morning and welcome. I hope you stay and enjoy this nice kind family.

For anyone doing a burger shop T v M, I believe. There was a 60p off vevet tissues from a T magazine which would be a good filler Tissues 99p in M but this is the last day.

Off to sada again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I so missed shopping while I was on holiday -sad I know

Drat wish I'd known that yesterday as I've got a mailing velvet MOC as well - not really got room for 3 more burgers :)

Got back today (well, yesterday now) to find the doormat awash with Panabello vouchers - thanks OP:T
And most of the envelopes had two vouchers inside, which was an unexpected bonus:)

    Good morning :)
Mine had only one voucher so no bonus for me

Thanx both :) and welcome niceandchilled :)
I know these bits have been sat under the bed for the best part of 2 years and if they stay here they probably won't go anywhere but its still not easy is it? :o
I think the bit that worries me is I could (if I can find every last piece in this house) put the whole set back together and give it to someone else who can't afford the hundred quid retail price tag (I only paid £15 for it 2 years ago)
If the retail price tag on the item wasn't so high I wouldn't think twice before throwing it away :o

I would first suggest ebay on a 99p start auction with p+p added at cost, then you are "doing the right thing" as they say, and might earn a bit. But if your time is worth more you gotta chuck it! ebay is quite hard work, but worth it in the end, maybe.

Let me know how misery guts (don't like calling him that) gets on with his iPhone :)

My DS says its better than my Samsung S3 but I disagree ;)

I told him yesterday to write all his phone numbers down, but he decided he couldn't be bothered *sigh*

He's got an ipad and the basics are more or less the same so hopefully it won't be too bad *touches wood*
