"ooooh, I could crush a grape" was another quote?

    Stu Francis, Crackerjack?

I could test drive a toy car ...
    I could rip a tissue
I could jump off a dolls house

Strange what you remember from childhood - must have been the three channels that focused the attention!

According to this link from Birmingham foodbank, frontline agencies register to distribute vouchers, though I don't know if this applies to all foodbanks http://birminghamcentral.foodbank.org.uk/distributors

The agencies listed include debt advisors, housing associations and the Royal British Legion

Ooooh hi logie, lovely to see you posting, hope you're well
At work we have a small amount of vouchers (just like a credit card size but paper covered in plastic) and the person takes that to the food bank. No questions are asked at the food bank, they trust the judgement of the person handing out the vouchers.
Ours are brilliant and include milk, bread, fruit and veg.

exactly, no choice, they had it so easy. Choice is good, I don't like it when people say they can't decide as there is too much choice.

    Morning mad squad,

    this has been bothering me,

★♥ There are 3 choices in life; give up, give in or give it all you've got ♥★

Isn't give up and give in the same thing ?

If it is does this mean there are only 2 choices in life ?
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.

Does anybody know where I can buy individual bowls and plates in these colours? Can't believe how hard it is to find bright coloured crockery but I'm not paying this price for them! I've decided to make my kitchen a bit more rainbow looking. I've tried T's, A's, Ikea, Argos, Debenhams, BHS, Dunelm, Matalan but no joy.

    Morning tweets.
Have you tried B+M? Charity shops might be worth a nosy round as well if you're not fussed about matching.

Girlfriend has just called me quite upset. She went shopping a few weeks ago, she went into Asda for a few bits then off into town. I usually drive in but she left the car in Asda and decided to walk in (it can be difficult to park sometimes and she's new on the road and isn't completely confident yet).

Anyway, today a fine dropped through the door because she'd parked for more than 2 hours. It was the first time shopping on her own, she's only just started driving and had no idea about any parking rules.. I never thought to tell her.

Thought I'd go through a few pages on here and read about some good APG's, makes me feel better :)

Appeal the ticket. They'll refuse but have to send a polpa code. Appeal to popla citing genuine pre estimate of loss and you'll win.

    Simples.

I don't think so if you give up smoking you stop if you give in to smoking you would have a cigarette, that's the way I see it anyway.

    Good morning everyone
nice to see the sun again
Elaine do you have a recipe for the lentil soup
alas no ciabatta in my local sada :)

Lentil can be one of the easiest soups to make. I throw in a couple of quartered onions, a few halved carrots, 3ham stock cubes and lentils, cover with water and leave it for an hour, add more water till the water is way above the lentils and boil/simmer for about 40 mins then blitz to smooth and break up the veg.
If I'm really on the ball I steep the lentils overnight in cold salted water, it saves on cooking time.
