My point was, if you got enough use out of the weekly ticket outwith you going to college when you made other journeys it would still be worthwhile getting.

Why do I think you are at college? Ive absolutely nil idea, I just assumed you got a lift into college and not back home hence having to pay fare one way.

Oh right, I see - I only use the bus. Until a few months ago I'd never got a non P&R/school bus before!

No, I'm a graduate (I do look about 15 though!)

When you pay with your card in many places you can ask for cashback. I often do this to get cash for my kids bus fares. The bank is your best bet though after pay day and draw out for the whole month. Great for budgeting too.

I think it's a case of you discovering the world doesn't revolve around you. Get money from bank in change or buy something- it's really not very difficult. *sigh*.

I used to drop my daughter off at school and catch the bus from a street across the road.

I did this most days, one day I got on and for some reason I only had a £10 note. :eek:

The bus driver bluntly told me, he had no change and I would have to get off!! Another mum from the school insisted on lending me the money. I was very grateful.

I thought he would get his comeuppance one day. Not long ago I saw his face in the local paper, having won a share of £38 million on the lottery. :rotfl:

You mention First buses - now I don't know what area you are in - but this is what Norfolk & Suffolk First website says:-

I'm actually from that area! But I don't live there... Embarrassingly it's actually Stagecoach I get, I occasionally get the First on the same route but I got them mixed up
