Mermaid: Oh yuck, that's horrid. I remember cleaning a vase that had been in the shed with my hand....it had two dead mice in it. I still can't use that vase!
AnW'sMum: I want to scream for you. I know just how you feel as i've been a nightmare for losing things this last few weeks. Last week I lost my work diary so didn't know when my next clients were in. I looked everywhere including where I'd last had it about three times. Where did I find it...exactly where i'd last had it. I was so mad. Good luck getting it replaced.
Lil_me: Think DH is feeling guilty as he's cut the grass, strimmed, tidied up outside and put the suitcase away....yeah!!!!!!!!!
Borderlakland: Hiya, welcome to the madhouse....I mean the wonderful flying community!
House is ok (ish) - most of upstairs is tidy and just a few hotspots downstairs which i'll tackle tomorrow. Let's hope tomorrow is nice weather as we're hoping to spend time at the allotment. Have a good weekend xxJanuary budget

Mermaid - Oh dear @ fruit flies, I've had to deal with a houseful when a neighbour was away for months & forgot about some carrots. Hope you got it sorted. As long as you get rid of what they are feeding on and kill the rest off (I just used fly spray) then should be ok.
Right, given up on laundry sort, did some but I'm just keeping the boys awake being up there. I have a load of jobs to do tomorrow, so I shall work on my list tonight, might even get it posted before bed, DP is working extra tomorrow night (aswell as all next week as his boss is away) so laundry can be done then.
Naff all on tele tonight, no booze for me, on more painkillers than a pharmacy has at the mo for the toothache so I think I would pass out at a sniff, will make myself a cup of hot chocolate instead - anyone else want one or am I the only boring one :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

I love this thread - been reading for couple of weeks but will try & join in properly from Monday.
ANW's Mum - I just laid out £280 for passports for all 5 of us so I've bought a safe specifically to keep them safe as I can't afford to lay that amount out again - well if I'm really honest I bought it to keep my Take That tickets safe 'till December lol :rotfl: but justified expense by putting passports in it!!
Hope you find themStart by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.0 -
piggybankrupt - welcome, even if you do like Take That :rotfl: just kidding of course, hope you enjoy joining us.One day I might be more organised...........

Enjoy the wine; it'll be a magic bottle that pours exactly what kind you fancy and enough to go round the lot of us then!
I'm on drinking choc with a scoop of banana milkshake powder in 'cos it wants using up. Hey why not. I've tried to start a new book tonight but the one I finished this afternoon is lingering in my head and I'm getting confused.
I might just copycat and do a list for tomorrow too.. Hoping the energy retuns.
Good luck with the lost items, I'll be dreaming of searching tonight, and the pesky flies.
Ta ta 'til tomorrow, Busy Bees.

Thanks guys you've put a smile back on my face
At least it has achieved something, I went through a load of stuff and found a carrier bag full of recycling in it! Found our bedroom floor again but can't get in bed now :rotfl:but it won't take too long to [STRIKE]chuck back on the floor[/STRIKE] sort
Right who wants to be in my lottery syndicate for when I check the numbers in a bit? I must be due for a change of luck, would be ecstatic if I won £10 lolOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
