    Quick update

Working on hallway now as present shopping done. DD in garden playing Darent go out to see what shes up to but shes quiet. Have already had to clean floors in kit/dining room twice as dog found paddling pools of rain water - twice. Have now got OH to empty them both so I dont have to do it again.

Have cleared the hotspot under the stairs and got OH to move one of the coat rails. Must have worn him out as he's had to go out on the bike "for a little ride" ! OK well he's only had it a month and not really had chance to play on it yet, so he's done himself a route on the sat nav and he's gone (probably for the rest of the afternoon). He did suggest going to the coast to get some mussels for tea but I told him it wasnt on the meal plan (plus I cant see him carrying live mussels in the panniers on his new toy.)

Have since varnished another door in dining room and now having tea break before continuing hall and stairs. I know should be having ME time. Maybe take daughter and dog to park instead as not now visiting friend until tomorrow as the suns shining.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Hiya
DH back from working away and i'm seriously annoying him by following him round handing stuff back to him when he puts it in the wrong place! Then he wanted to do the gardening and couldn't find the tools. I told him they were in a box on his computer desk to which he says they don't live there. No they don't.. but they also don't live all over the kitchen which is where he left them before he went away. Hehe, i've been in one of those moods this week where i've just bagged his stuff up and put it by his computer. Maybe he'll learn to put stuff away. Right, off to take his suitcase up there as he's left it on the dining room table. I mean war!

Had school fair today so weather was lovely for that. Children enjoyed it and will probably be high on sugar for a week. I'm off out with my mum for a couple of hours later so goodness knows what state the house will be in when I get back. Bless him....NOT!

PS Have to admit he's mowing the grass and doing lots of cutting back in the garden so he's not a total loser! xx

    Afternoon all

Well I am sat here at work but only half and hour to go :j . Then its home to get ready for our night out:beer: .

Flying needs to step up a gear, because we only moved in recently I have been thinking well that was only done last week but we have been here 5 weeks now so really need to stay on top of things. So this week I will have the step ladders out and hoover those light shades etc etc.

Ordered the rest of DD1 first school uniform from M & S as they have a 3 for 2 on schoolwear, plus used free delivery code and ordered via quidsco, saved £15 and got commision on the full price from quidsco :D , very impressed tracked within an hour!

Freecycle, waiting for someone to contact us regarding the trike and helmet and someone else posted they wanted conservatory furniture so waiting to hear if she actually wants ours. She did ask for a picture but as its stacked in the garage I havent got time to get it all out photo and then put back so found item number for it in argos. Ours is exactly the same just different coloured fabric. Plan for tomorrow is sort garage so also computer desk to be measured and listed then I should be able to get the treadmill up and running again (no pun intended:D ).

Have done my meal plan for the rest of the month working by what is in the freezer so hoping to come in under budget this month. I am also going to keep a note of how much I am spending on fruit & veg (just for interest sake).

Right off to dry up cups in the staff room. Happy weekend everyone:cool:

I'm quite pleased with progress today. All little jobs, but they make the house so much more pleasant once they are done. Although i think we are going to have a chilled out family day tomorrow cos we all feel shattered. My throat feels quite gravelly too, but that could be my hayfever.

LJD1 sounds like your hubby has come back and been suprised, well done for sticking to your guns! Offer him a cuppa, it's mean't to be good for shock :rotfl:

Shell it really doesn't seem like it's been 5 weeks since you moved, flown over hasn't it. Enjoy your night out :)

Michelle, sounds like you could all do with a break, hope the weather stays nice so you can all have a nice day together

We're having family time tomorrow but doing stuff at the same time. The 'turtle' tank needs setting up and filling so the boys will be helping/hindering with that, then going to do the beef that is in SC now as a full Sunday dinner and sit down together for it. Will make a change as only had chance to sit together at one meal time this week.

Speaking of flying best update my list, washing is back on line again, know what people mean by hokey cokey with washing today! DS2 has his fridge magnets with words on all over the FF now so while I am working in the kitchen we can work on that too, bonus.
One day I might be more organised...........

well I have searched all the places the passport might have been and some where I was confident it wasn't, even been in the loft and brought the bags down we used last year and it's not there :( Have been crying tears of anger and frustration. DS said 'don't worry mummy you will find your passport' and 'you'll find Daddy' if only I could 'find' Daddy for him.

I just know it has to be somewhere, going to have to report it lost and get another (only got the ruddy thing last year) looks like a trip in person though as we go on hols on 22nd  gonna cost a fortune all cause I am not organised.

Have got rest of today and tomorrow for another big hunt round, then will have to ring passport office on Monday and see what to do. I am so angry with myself and want to swear VERY LOUDLY and use some VERY NAUGHTY words.

borderlakland welcome, will post the link for the new thread in this one tomorrow evening when it's done, hope you enjoy joining us.

AnW'sMum sorry to hear it hasn't shown up yet. When I 'loose' things which I do regularly I start room by room, corner to corner looking which usually helps, find most things, some never reappear. Hope it appears.

Nope I haven't moved since I last posted but have to now, DP on his way home so have to cook and need to get the next load of washing on the line!

    Hiya,
What a lovely morning I've had, stayed dry long enough to get 2 washloads on the line and filled 2 black sacks from the jungle clear up that was the side border. I keep going out to look at it. I went for a cuddle with skinny cat who was sleeping on the bed about 1.30 and just woke up about an hour ago. Lazy days..

AnWsmum, random suggestions places to look. Has DS been looking after it himself in wherever he keeps special things? What about in any old handbags you might have taken on holiday or have you had to use it for a form of ID for any reason ? I hate loosing stuff, drives me crackers even if it's not important. Remembered a favourite new T-shirt from last summer in the week, not a clue and I haven't many places to look.
Also if I can connect TV,DVD,Hi-fi, video and digibox together then anybody can. Draw a map of 'ins' and 'outs' and work backwards. It might be one of the other devices stopping the picture getting through.

Borderlakland, welcome to the thread and hope you get lots out of it!

Have a good night out those partying. I'm wondering how I'll get through the evening without Dr Who. I'll be around to chip in if anyone's winding down on here. Going to do meal plan and shopping list now. Am ravenous too.
