    Morning

Your challenge today is to find DS's passport, found mine, DD's and the paper part to my driving licence but can't find DS's passport and at 4 yrs old I don't think I should leave him home alone while we are on holiday

Let him watch 'Home Alone' before you go, he'll pick up some tips and probably will want to stay behind. Good luck with the hunt! ps am off to but nappysacks for the car today.. ta for the suggestion..(it was you wasn't it)

I read the posts when I rolled in after midnight but I didn't want to post in case I woke you all. Seroius case of House Envy again today. I'd never been to my work friend's house before and it's so lovely. Grumble grumble grumble sigh.

My mission today is to get to the bottom of the 'jungle' border in the garden then that will be every bit tackled. 5ft Angelica plants threatening to take over. Wish I had my camera, it's worthy of a before and after provided I do it of course.

Indoor stuff might be a S&S and whatever comes to light along the way.

Have a lovely day doing what you're doing.

lol he would probably enjoy it too much like you say :rotfl:

Hunt not going too well so far, got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach :(

I should really put nappy sacks in our car as well seeing as I cleared it out last week. Great for use as sick bags as well (tested by DD a couple of years ago _pale_ ) I also sell them on ebay as dog poo bags :rotfl:. If you can't find any then give me a shout I have the odd 1000 or 10 sitting around here!!!

    Morning All.

Charlie kindly allowed me to lie in till 7:20 this morning, and i do feel a bit better for it.

    Chores today are:
    • [STRIKE]label up and post off 14 bags of SAT papers[/STRIKE]
    • wrap up and post DVD sold on amazon ran out of time so will have to do on Mon
    • [STRIKE]small supermarket shop[/STRIKE] (aiming for a month of £40 a week or less, so far i have been successful) spent £76, but realised i needed baby cup, washing powder, baby milk - so not too bad for the food
    • [STRIKE]strip beds[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]wash all bedding[/STRIKE]
    • hoover mattresses
    • remake beds
    • [STRIKE]wash my undies[/STRIKE]
    • wash charlies covers off baby walker, buggy and bouncy chair
    • hoover through again
    • [STRIKE]deal with post[/STRIKE]
    • make bottles
    • spend at least half an hour dealing with my ironing mountain from hell, and packing away some of Charlie's too small clothes
    • make sausage, mash and veg for dinner
    • rescue stuff from TD, fold and put away.
plus anything else that crops up during the day.

    done already:
    • last nights washing up away
    • checked internet stuff
    • me and charlie fed
    • cats fed
    • recycling put out
    • WM set off
    • charlie purees out to defrost for lunch time
    • sausages out to defrost for dinner time
Plus, me and DH spent a little bit of time last night with the calendar in front of us trying to plan out seeing a few folks over the school summer hols, cos once i go back to work we won't have time then, as we then start a cycle of birthday parties and other such stuff for a good few weeks.

Also made a few slightly longer term decisions after looking at the calendar and having a good think.

Anyway, don't want to be too deep for a Saturday morning, so time to get dressed, get dh up and get on with life.

    Michelle, x
  • morning all. hope you all have a good weekend.
Got a load of washing on the line. Its spitting at the moment but hopefully it will blow over. I have only been able to do 1 load a day while the weather has been like this so although its been kept on top of i haven't seen the bottom of wash basket for weeks:o. We are all off swimming this morning so that'll mean an extra 5 towels for washing. It's the first time taking DS3 (2yr old) swimming so i hope he likes it. DS3 has been nagging for ages to go.
    Nothing to declare ;)

    Morning all

One load of washing out and it's SUNNY, I can't believe it.

S & S'd kitchen. Just woke DH up - the dog had been halfway up the stairs three times since 7.30 trying to get him up:D So I've got my music on now, not loud enough to wake the neighbours but loud enough to keep him awake;)

Okay looking at that I don't seem to have done much at all but I have been trying!

I'll probably try to get some more done today and see how organised I can be next week.

However, so far next week I've got a party Monday pm with DS, school all day on Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday night, interview which will take all day on Thursday and either college on Friday and then an assembly at DD's school or I might get called into work to cover for the strike.

I definitely need to be more organized to get anything done!

I haven't had chance to catch up on all the posts yet so I'll probably do that now.

AND... *fury!!* Some moron on ebay posted a postal order to me on Monday and then left negative feedback last night because they haven't received the item ... I got the postal order at 6:30PM last night!!!!!! SO I sent her a snotty email in reply this morning.. basically if I haven't marked the item as payment recieved, I haven't received it.. simple!! She never even contacted me about it.. bear in mind our sorting goes through Sheffield!!!! and Doncaster!! and my local office was under water for several days there is a mountainous backlog and a strike... they have the posties doing double rounds to catch up!! But she was too selfish, ignorant and plain stupid to actually use her brain or to contact me... stupid b!tch... (and yes I hope she is a member here and feels shame!!!) I am absolutely furious!!! I have contacted ebay about this, not that they will do anything, but reporting her makes me feel better!! ... anyway.. enough ranting and back to work!

I need my nails doing today too.. my nail polish remover has disappeared so I need to purchase some.. I'll dash off when hubby gets back from dance class I think... before the next child has to go.

Oh pigpen I've had a similar one with a paypal echeque, they expected the item next day, payment took over a week to clear. I think you can appeal against the negative left can't you? She's definately being unreasonable. Speaking on ebay wonder what my partner has bought using my account, something arrived recorded delivery this morning, think I will be nosey and open it seeing as it has MY name on it.

New neighbour had her twin girls on Thursday so she's coming home today, they haven't even moved in properly yet, very little in the house is finished. She's coming back to this house rather than going to the old one, so her family are dashing around today trying to move everything else in, not got long as she comes home at 12pm lunch time. She's not my favourite person as I have mentioned previously, for good reason but have offered to help if required.

Just paid some bills over the phone, this was my list for the day, will strike through what is done as I go, did think I'd posted it last night but another post that has vanished into cyberspace!! Weather is ok so far so hoping to line dry what I can, does however keep threatening to rain. Must remember to put water heater on as soon as I've done this. Includes dailies I have left to do.

[strike]2 wash loads done hung out
2 more loads in machine and hang out when space
Beef in SC that needs using, don't know what to do with it yet, dinner today or maybe for tomorrow but needs cooking today regardless
Dogs fed, out and cleaned up after [/strike]
Dog walks (x2 left seeing as DP is out all day and night)
Sort through fridge, breads, veg etc checking for what needs using/freezing
[strike]Sort through freezer and do meal plan, with hopefully SMALL shopping list[/strike]
    Clear & wipe kitchen benches
S&S bathroom, empty bin up there too
[strike]Search bedrooms for dirty laundry [/strike]
Sort the top of the FF, dust while everythings off there
    Wipe cupboard and appliance fronts
    [strike]Vacuum through downstairs
Meals- lunch sandwiches and yoghurt for the boys, soup for me, [/strike] dinner now changed to chicken so beef now for tomorrow
    [strike]Take all clean laundry upstairs[/strike]
Clean laundry put away - HUGE job :(
Socks & undies sort :( hate that one too
One day I might be more organised...........

:rotfl: Probably, bought 2 dresses for the girls yesterday aswell, just because there mother is a moron doesn't mean they have to do without, also got her oldest son who is my DSs friend a birthday card, was his birthday yesterday and didn't want him to feel left out, no doubt he will with all the fuss over the babies, he's a nice kid. I also have an addiction for baby stuff shopping :o There is 3 bags so far for when my best mate has her little one. I buy something every time I am out.
