Well done on the debt reduction pigpen.:D
I've had a cr@ppy day today. In post this morning was a letter from on of DS1 teachers saying he's been disruptive and cheeky etc in his art class for weeks, then a bit later another of his subject teachers phoned to say pretty much the same thing in his english lessons. She has put him on report and just wanted me to know what was happening. i had this with him at the beginning of the school year and now again at the end. I decided as a punishment i would confiscate his mobile phone, so i had a quick look through it and found some !!!!!! on there:eek:. He's only 13:o. I asked him where it came from and he said "***** sent them to me, he's got loads and worse than that!"
Don't know what to do
What you don't do is make a big deal out of the !!!!!!.. he isn't gay... one less thing for dad to be concerned aboutIt is perfectly natural and part of discovering about growing up and body changes etc.. I found the best thing for us was to make sure it was kept out of reach and sight of the younger ones.. mine was just 12!!! (start of year 7)
Year 9 is THE worst... year 8 is just 'bad' by comparison. In year 9 there are more exclusions, detentions reports etc but again it is all down to hormones and growing up and it's all 'just another phase' ... year 10 is SO much better.. and mine is a prize gitbag!!!! Actually he has been so much better since he has 'released some of the hormones' (you know what I mean!) Not that I encourage it but it makes my life easier... tell you what though, once they stop being hormonal disruptive obnoxious gitbags they want money for everything... £1's day after day and then they throw the 'you get MY child benefit' at you.. not realising they cost you 10 times that each week... and then you spend half your life not knowing where they are and the other half knowing and worrying because you don't like the company they are keeping (in our case it is my brother!!!)
They do turn out the other end halfway human... still male mind lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
*broomie puts fingers in her ears and whistles merrily as her ds is only three and she doesnt want to know about horrible teenage boys!*
Just realised today how different my house is to a year ago. Now if i had a suprise guest turn up i wouldnt be too worried and if i had a days notice i would be able to get it immaculate in an hour rather than spending the whole day on it. Considering i feel like i do nothing everyday i'm actually quite suprised (pleasantly obviously) by this!
Currently busy making pizzas for a picnic tomorrow (which could end up being an indoor one if it rains so no getting out of cooking!)Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -

**joins pigpen on the mountain, not allowed to be a hermit and keep it all to yourself**
The reason why, yes they stay male and when they get to 27 they're just as bad, DP just thrown a strop as I've said he'll be wasting time and money if he goes to another event which is on tomorrow, because of the rain, I did say weather might be ok, so he threw a strop when I mentioned rain said 'How about I just don't go' then hung up. :rotfl: He's so childish some times (yes event is racing model cars again) makes me laugh. I didn't say don't go just said what I thought. He asks me what I think then throws a strop if I am honest.
Anyway, comfort food time, needed something I can eat with limited chewing so cheesey mash with beansOne day I might be more organised...........

Oh.. and I'm the hermit.. you can be Kermit!... ooh got you a story...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller.
He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.
"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday
Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name.
The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager.
Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan
with some collateral.
The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a
tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.
Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to
consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.
She finds the manager and says, " There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to
borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral."
She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what
in the world is this?"
(you're gonna love this)
The bank manager looks back at her and says...
"It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan, His old man's a Rolling Stone."
(You're singing it, aren't you? Yeah, I know you are........)
Never take life too seriously! Come on now, you grinned, I know you did!!!
