lil_me we're currently having fun with the "top gear cool wall" magnets that are in this months top gear magazine.

Another lot of washing on the line. Just the bedding and towels to go, but not until the dishwasher is finished as our water pressure can't handle both being on at the same time. Looks like tomorrow's weather forecast is pretty good as well - hurrah !!

Solwaykid, I'm getting through no more dr who by watching torchwood, though I think I only have 4 episodes of that left to watch (can you tell what I've been doing for most of the day). Once that's finished, then it'll be dr who series one for more Captain Jack goodness

AnWsmum, random suggestions places to look. Has DS been looking after it himself in wherever he keeps special things? What about in any old handbags you might have taken on holiday or have you had to use it for a form of ID for any reason ? I hate loosing stuff, drives me crackers even if it's not important. Remembered a favourite new T-shirt from last summer in the week, not a clue and I haven't many places to look.

Thanks Solway I have been thinking along those lines myself. Just don't remember using it at any point since last year. Don't think he has wandered off with it but you never know!

He lost my chain for DH's ring ages ago and about 4 months later he said one morning 'where is your necklace Mummy' 'I don't know where is it?' I replied and he said 'It's down the back of your bed' and there it was!!!!! He had dropped it behind the headboard and more impressively for a then 3 yr old he remembered doing it 4 months later.

Perhaps I need to challenge him on this as he does like looking at books.
Also if I can connect TV,DVD,Hi-fi, video and digibox together then anybody can. Draw a map of 'ins' and 'outs' and work backwards. It might be one of the other devices stopping the picture getting through.
Will look into the TV prob once the passport is sorted lol they are watching a video at the mo so all is not lost. Well the passport is :rotfl:

Wish I'd had the foresight to record them both. I can't get any of the BBC extra channels for re-runs either when it's windy for some reason. Lucky you, I'm envious. Got a bit of a crush on Owen in TW..

Just a quick hello, hope you're all ok as I'm on my own with the littlies tonight as dh has gone off to play a gig (no, not live earth!:D) and isn't usually back till about 2am. I was at work today till 2pm then I've been gardening the jungle that is usually known as our back garden. Not much flying in evidence apart from the one load in the WM and DW.

AnW'sMum - have you tried the pockets of your winter coat? The only reason I ask is I've been looking for my work keys, which have a burglar alarm key fob on, for 2 months now and found them this morning in my winter coat pocket! I just kept looking when I had a moment but didn't dare tell the bosses at work though I was pretty sure they were in my house not lost in the street somewhere. Your passport will turn up when you really need it - my keys did. This morning was the first time in ages I've been the first person in and I needed them at 8am - found them at 7.20am this morning!!;)
Big ((HUGS)) - I know it's really annoying and stressful to loose something important.

I know it'll cost you extra but I think I would have done the same AnW'sMum, more so I knew that I would have one to go on holiday - which would then be either given to someone else to look after it or put somewhere it couldn't/wouldn't disappear from because knowing my luck/lack of organisation I would loose it again.
One day I might be more organised...........

5 black sacks gone from mowing the grass, and it looks so much better. DH also pruned back a couple of things so that i can actually get up to the top part of the garden now, so i can stop putting compostable stuff into the kitchen bin.

Got a big bag of parsnips from the supermarket for a £1, so some has gone in with the mash for tonight, and also done extra mash for the pie tomorrow, and the rest of the parsnips are chopped ready to become curried parsnip soup for lunch tomorrow. :j

Plan for tonight is to get charlie in bed in a minute, get the green beans chopped for dinner, and then cook it, remake the bed at some point, and sit in front of a DVD (little miss sunshine). May also try to re-read a bit of harry potter 2, and i may have to have a vodka and coke. (sorry to those of you who have given it up.) Although not as much booze as last weekend.

Otherwise, i want to catch up on some sleep tonight, although depends how long the film is to when we collapse.

May see you in a bit if i get bored.

    Michelle, x

Oh - losing things. I recently found a t-shirt i had lost about 2 years ago, i swear i looked everywhere at home, and my parents house, but then found it in a chest of drawers in the spare room. I'd suggest down the back of whichever drawer/cupboard you keep the rest of the passports in.

    Evening all

Had my me time at Hampton Court flower show with DS1. Traffic was awful but it was a good experience and nice to do something with just one child. Came home with a filthy headache so laid on the bed for 30mins. Feel a bit better now.

House is a state, turn your back and the family slack. Just thinking can I be bothered to tidy it. Might feel more like it after tea.

AnWsMum I feel frustrated for you. I am always hunting for things and hate it. I am going to check our passports/E111 now!

Border.. welcome, I recognise you from the tesco threads. I scooped up loads of coupons whilst at the show - asked a girl handing them out for a few and she gave me her whole pile, with a big smile.
