HELP!
Sitting room or kitchen? They are going to sit in the sitting room - but I spent all night cleaning down shelves and cupboards in the kitchen and not doing the bits that can be seen - then I started decluttering a bookshelf in the sitting room (to find room for books - how original!) so that is all over the place... Oh hell....
Maybe I'll set a timer ifor 15 mins in each room and then I'll start on list from there... panic, panic panic!!!!
Sitting here isn't helping is it? I know, I know, I know....
I feel sick tooIs it home time yet?0 -
Morning all. Well DS2 off school as predicted, seems a bit better in himself (currently launching dice off the sofa and adding them up so educational) but still struggling to talk and swallow, also says 'Want to stay home with Dad' so when Dad gets up, probably about 11, he can
because I have to go out
Allowing him a sleep in as he let me go to bed at 1.30am and stayed up with DS2.
Other than sort DS1 for school, I've fed the dogs and they've been out on the field, emptied the washing machine, and that's about itI will get a wriggle on soon, but NEED COFFEE first!!
Shirley well doneOne day I might be more organised...........

Morning all, hope you are all well. Just sitting down with my first cuppa of the day, as I have not had a chance yet. No wonder I don't feel awake yet. As soon as the caffeine has done it's job I will be getting on with the list. Have so much to do today and have to be logged on to work by 12pm:eek:
Did some baking yesterday and was so lazy it is still all sitting there to be dealt with:o
I wanted to get on with some of the things that I missed last week too as it was a bit manic towards the end. I had to have my 9 month old niece as she was sick and couldn't go in to nursery (as well as my 3yr old and 5 month old), so it was a bit manic. Then Friday had to go and see my uncle, who is over from Spain for a little while, and catch up. Then on Saturday spent the whole day at my nan's because DH was doing her garden for her and didn't want to go by himself as he has only met my nan a couple of times:rolleyes:. He is so shy it drives me mad sometimes.0 -
Oh Pigpen you obviously aren't well, go and have that lay down :rotfl:
kdean my partner would have likely been the same, sometimes I say 'Can you go to work yourself or do you need me to hold your hand' yep, that bad so I can sympathise. Does sound like chaos with the 3 littlies, especially with a poorly one, well done for coping.
Just done quick swish of bathroom while I was upstairs, considering putting laundry out, dry but cloudy doesn't fill me with confidence!! First downstairs vacuum of the day done. Got a few calls to make (currently on hold) , then it's on with the kitchen...One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all :hello:
Soggy here in Liverpool again  A couple of local roads are flooded as the drains can't cope and some schools (4 at the last count) are closed due to flooding! Was certainly interesting going to school & post box this morning. I wore my "dad" waterproof (it comes down to my knees :rotfl: ) and a baseball cap, if I'd had wellies I would have worn those as well but I can't get them past my calf-musclesSo behind my frontdoor is my coat & hat & rucksack (saves DD trying to carry 3 bags & jog to school...I swear that child never walks anywhere :rotfl: ) and I'm in my PJ's as my pants were soaked through. Just glad we don't live in a valley!!!! The mentality of some of the parents at the school made me laugh - they turned up in PJ's and tracksuit jackets, no hoods and those slipper like shoes when its bucketing it down and had been for at least 30 minutes
Oh well, I started on the kitchen yesterday as OH has hurt both wrists (RSI I think - he's a computer technician and spends at least 8 hours a day using a computer before minds start twisting that) so there is only breakfast dishes to do for a change so for the first time in weeks my kitchen should only about 15 minutes but I'm not mopping the floor as in this weather it's pointless! Off to catch up on a couple of other websites while I finish my coffee then I'll get on with the kitchen - in two minds whether to do some washing or not  See you all later
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
