Just collecting my thoughts together for tomorrow, although i'm not going too mad with my list as i am shattered after today. Plan is loosely to go to mums again for the day as i want to limit the time that Charlie is on the floor with the chemicals, and i realised i shouldn't vax it off today otherwise what is the point with all the spraying. The level of chemical will wear away after a thorough hoovering every day, and by the time i go to mums tomorrow and Wednesday, and then we are on a trip to sundown adventure land with nephews nursery school on Thursday, so a busy week out i think.

    Monday 2/07:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
[strike]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike]
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
[strike]Wipe window sills,[/strike] clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Wipe the outside of all your small appliances (kettle, toaster etc) [/strike]
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, [strike]clean the filters is they are washable[/strike] and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leave it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together.
    • Clean out the freezer, I find the vacuum cleaner is good for getting up any crumbs in the bottom or stray peas etc. Defrost it if it needs it.
    • [strike]Clean under small appliances [/strike]and bigger ones if you can manage it
    Deal with post
    Make bottles
Make lentil/butternut squash soup for dinner
    Buy more flea spray
    Pay vets bill
Spray the rest of our room and the spare room
Check airers for dry clothes, take off and fold/put away
    Hang up wet clothes
    Reassemble hoover
    Hoover all of downstairs again
    Groom both cats again

Think i am going to jump in the bath now and put some cream on my bites. Ouch, my ankles are quite raw, but hopefully i won't get any more now. Then clean jammies and bed with HP as i didn't get round to reading any last night cos i was on here, and i only have 19 days to read the 1st 6 again

tired mum welcome - just jump in and do what you can

lil me sorry about DS2 being poorly, won't be helpful for your busy day tomorrow with poorly child underfoot

ljd please take it easy and don't overdo it. A few weeks of untidiness although not hugely pleasant is nothing compared to your health. Do things slowly and have lots of rest breaks

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi, everyone,

Just been catching up on your weekend activities, it's better than anything on tv and great advice too :D . Hugs to everyone who is poorly, lousy, flea or flood infested or with poorly or hormonal kiddies.

DH had nerve to say, 'it could do with dusting in the playroom'. Whole house is cleanest it's been in well... ever and that's all he can say, and I damp dusted it on Thursday too  . Flipping cheek.

Anyway, ready for another flying week.

    See you tomorrow.

    Mel

    • Wipe the outside of all your small appliances (kettle, toaster etc)
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, clean the filters is they are washable and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leav it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together.

DP luckily only works evenings (3) usually so he's here for LO tomorrow, he's up showering him off now as he's been up for the last hour or so, temp sky high!!! Hopefully cool him off a little, he can hardly talk because his throat is sore bless him, know he's unwell when he is quiet!

DP and I pleased he didn't go to York today these were the hail stones that came down

Pleased he saved his time and money, would have been a few hundred miles for nothing. Saying that it rained at diggerland, we agreed it's tradition now, whenever we book it july-september it rains!
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all, it's stupid O'clock and I've no idea why I'm wide awake but I might as well make a start.
I daren't do anything that involves putting water down the plughole though, when I emptied the bath last night the loo went 'bloop bloop bloop' and filled to the rim! I'm hoping it's just sheer volume of water in the drains but I suspect they may be blocked again. Something to do with tree roots. Lucky for me it's one job I don't have to tackle myself; I'll ring landlord's handy man later. (I'll let him have a lie-in, hee hee)

Ironing is the safest bet then I'll see how far I can get with one bowl of hot water..
Catch up with you all this evening.

I need to join you all on this. I started a new job last week and haven't got a new routine yet, consequently house is a mess. Will start slowly and build up. How does it get like this when no-one is in during the day ?

Thanks for the points re bringing up boys, my two are constantly head to head these days at 10 and 13, I think I may invest in some reading material on that level.

I so don't want to be up this morning. I feel so tired and achey, and it was DH who did most of the cleaning, so i will head over to mums fairly soon to have a good slob before coming home to do a little bit like go to the local shops.

Charlie is really happy again. Can't believe he was away from me all them hours yesterday and didn't really miss me. I went back to pick him up and he was sat in my nephews high chair, eating an amount of food that shocked my parents, and sat giggling his head off. :rotfl: There's hope yet that he will really love nursery and the level of entertainment they provide.

Anyway, i've had my 1st cuppa, and that hasn't really done the trick but i had bet get things together and get us ready to go.

    See you all this evening.
