    Evening everyone!

I've been playing sausage roll with her to burn off some energy when she gets home. I roll her up in a duvet with her head sticking out the top - you wouldn't believe how much time and energy is spent escaping the duvet! :rotfl:

Pigpen - have you considered taking your spare kiddies videos to a local hospital childrens ward? My littlies have been given alot of disney DVD's by various friends and relatives so they had alot of duplicate videos which we took to the local hospital - we about had our hands bitten off they were so eager to receive them. Apparently they get alot stolen! so they're always wanting replacements.

Brilliant idea idea about the sausage roll - will employ this afternoon!

Couldn't agree more about videos to hospital childrens' wards - we couldn't have survived without them: the equipment is generally quite antiquated and videos (when not being stolen) don't have that long a life - especially not when being watched 500 times a day! The choice is more for Mummy's benefit...
Oh - and if anybody is ever upgrading their digital TV receiving equipment and have an old freeview box spare: for the sake of imprisoned mummies of sick kids: please donate to hospitals too!!
    Is it home time yet?

Don't know whether to go for roast chicken and trimmings, or duck, or big fat juicy burgers  I'll see what I feel like making when I get to Asda, as well as the cost :rotfl:

Plans for today are to have a good clean of the kitchen (OH said those immortal words last night - "Don't wash up, I'll do it later" - the sinks filled with hot soapy water ready for me to do it  ) so basically a repeat of Mondays list:o, get what little towel/cloth washing that needs doing done as they're currently just sitting on the kitchen floor, S&S the livingroom and then tackle our bedroom.

    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner
    • Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required

Morning all. It is dry here but cloudy so after school run off to the lottie as we need potatoes for tea!

Will do list when I get back - going off plan as I prefer Wednesday as study/bathroom so that downstairs is done and towels are changed before I start the beds.

I told DD (3) not to eat some food that a fly had been crawling on, 'cos it might have been on something nasty beforehand (think back to your food hygiene/biology lessons). I explained that one of the things that flies like to eat is poo, so she shouted "Oi, fly do you want to see my knickers, they've got poo in them!". All those talks about sharing weren't in vain then...

I think I'm going to collect all these little stories into a book to present her with at her 18th birthday party. Such a mean mummy!

Definately keep them for leaverage later in life. I will no doubt be mentioning to DS his current thing which is to ask any man he sees "Have you got a willy?" It is quite funny but extremely embarrassing when it is a stranger.

I was intending to go do things now, but I currently have 2 rats, if not three (can't quite tell) curled up under my skirt and I don't want to disturb them.
    :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I wish I had thought that about the videos - I got rid of a boatload yesterday, that is, two rubble bags full to overflowing! Some of them were kiddies (yes, we have had them for years, yes, DS is six months old, but I have no shame about it!)

    Still no Diet Coke!

Well, still flapping feebly, but when I can hold my head up, I will post a list. Posting on this thread is keeping me motivated.

One of the things I have to do today is ring the hairdressers. I like to make my next appointment when I leave the hairdressers and they hadn't got their diary written up six weeks ahead. So I booked 29 July, which turns out to be a Sunday....

Also have to buy those vacuum bags and a surprise for DH. Not saying what, because he sometimes dips into the threads, but I hope he will enjoy!

Must dash - DS is at the bin again!

    Always another chapter
