Been a busy day here in Mermaid's grotto (or should that be grotty?), but not much flying done. Been doing some work instead (pays the bills even if house if a bit of a bombsite).
Another story for those with hormonal boys, to prove that those of us with girls don't necessarily get it any easier:
I told DD (3) not to eat some food that a fly had been crawling on, 'cos it might have been on something nasty beforehand (think back to your food hygiene/biology lessons). I explained that one of the things that flies like to eat is poo, so she shouted "Oi, fly do you want to see my knickers, they've got poo in them!". All those talks about sharing weren't in vain then...
I think I'm going to collect all these little stories into a book to present her with at her 18th birthday party. Such a mean mummy!

Mermaid, I love the book idea, would be a rather large book I think if other people's children are anything like my 2 boys. Such a lovely girl to think of sharing :rotfl: had me crying laughing tho.
Right having 10 minutes wind down following more assignment work, what I have done is now written up (after several corrections and hunting for bits of paper with working out on) still a couple of ? unanswered which I will have another try at in the morning.
Good night everyone. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
This is my catch up day as I have no kids at home between 9.30 and 2 so I'm hoping to get quite a lot done.
DS woke up at 4.25 and although he lay down in bed with me for an hour he never went back to sleep! I blame DH, he must have woken him up when he got up for work.
I'm now going to strip my bed so that'll be my first job on the list and probably do some ironing before my DD gets out of bed. DS is watching Grease and eating his breakfast so will be quite happy for now.
Will report in later
