I just grab moments here and there! usually an hour if vacuuming and stuff, but I try to do small jobs in the ad breaks in the evening, such as wipe cupboard fronts if I didn't complete it in the day. I never seem to get around to fling sessions lately!

Hello and good morning to everyone
I've done everything on my list apart from vaccuming as i'm not allowed to lift anything and so couldn't get the dyson upstairs and changing the bed as it was done on Friday. Yeah! I've also done two hotspots which means i've cleared two drawers in our bedroom. I'm going to do another 27 boogie fling but the house is looking pretty good which is fabulous considering how depressed I was about it on Sunday.

Off for a nice walk soon as I have one client who's housebound so I go to her. She's about a mile away but I want to get healthier so the walk will do me good. I'm sure i've got more energy since giving up diet coke. It's five days since I had any - thanks Hev for the inspiration! xx

    Good morning

You are all so busy, I feel quilty, not done anything apart from cruising on this forum for a few hours and talking on the phone, oh and made breakfast for DD2. DD1 is still in her bed (she is 13) it is lovely not to have to set the alarm for 6 weeks..
My bedroom really needs doing today, it is a mess!! But I already cleaned my craft desk at the weekend so one less job to do in there.

I can't stop thinking about the terrorist attacks, in London and closer to home, at Glasgow airport. It amazes me how quick the police arrests so many people, I just can't believe that 3 of them are NHS doctors, are they not supposed to save lives? Just not ours eh? it is all so scary, especially my DD2 is really scared, we try not to talk about it when she is around, but they have to live with it too, especially as she is flying out to Denmark with the gymnastics club. We do reassure her, but she has trouble sleeping alone in her room.

How much time I spend flying a day? Depends how I feel, if I feel full of energy a couple of hours or until the list is done, if I can't be bothered, only the necessities, half an hour at the most..

I was just wondering - how much time to people spend flying a day?? Just out of interest!

I spent about 2 hours last night - most of which was clearing clutter and a hotspot... So I'm hoping once I get the worst of it done it won't be much to maintain!!

Basically it seems to be one room a day, which takes me about 1 to 1½ hours.

I think now that I follow our fly lady routine, I'm sure I spend less time and can see the house is alot neater and straight.

As much time as I can bear!!

This week I appear to have spent hours at it.. normally I scrape about 2-3 hours IF I get that much done.. some days I do nothing! I just seem to be off on one this week so am running with it.. I need to be in bed by 10pm though lol

It does get easier once the clutter is less... I've sent bags bags and bags out of the house.. ebay, charity shop and the bin mainly.. and yes it does help!!

I find instead o fthe 27 fling boogie.. the binbag dance is better at first.. that way you get rid of a whole binbag of rubbish rather than a carrier.. I also try not to put out a half full wheelie bin as well.. that is my Wednesday motivation.. fill the wheelies... I achieved that at the weekend and have started filling the neighbours bins now lol

Mumoftwo I have done very little.. apart from 4 loads of washing .. in, out, td'd and folded and dumped on the table until later.. Don't feel guilty just grab a cuppa and then go for it!!!

    Morning all

Got the grass cut back and front, it's growing like mad.

Stripped bed, vacuumed mattress, turned and vacuumed again. Remade bed. Dusted and polished all bedrooms and vacuumed through including landing. Even remembered the cobweb in the corner of my bedroom.

    Vacuumed through downstairs too.

Made stew for today, just got to do some dumplings. That will do for today and tomorrow.

All the washing is dry already! Sunny and windy here at the moment, I think the rain is due back this afternoon. So it's all folded and put away. It's nice not to have to watch for the rain all the time now:D

    rach - you're an inspiration!

It's nice to have somebody else who has days when they don't want to move:)
