Time for a catch up - just watching an episode of friends that i haven't seen yet, which i didn't think think was possible. Had a lovely roast beef dinner - cooked the whole joint in the end, now sliced and cooling, so some will do the next couple of days meals, and the rest of it will go in the freezer.

Got a little bit further with my list but i can't be bothered. Going to ring my marking superviser in a moment as i haven't heard from him yet and the papers can go back this week, and i want them out the house now.

    Tuesday 3/07:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[strike]Clean floors[/strike] just hoovered again cos we spotted another lively one
    Level Two
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leave it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together. [/strike]
    • Clean out the freezer, I find the vacuum cleaner is good for getting up any crumbs in the bottom or stray peas etc. Defrost it if it needs it.
    • Clean under bigger appliances if you can manage it
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    [strike]Vacuum floors and sofas [/strike]
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/strike]
    Clean window
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
    [strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/strike]
[strike]Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)[/strike]
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot pile on top of coffee table
    • [strike]Gather any borrowed items or library books and return/rebook/check dates [/strike] don't have any
    • Wipe the leaves of your plants
    • [strike]Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around[/strike]
    [strike]Deal with post [/strike]
    [strike]Make bottles[/strike]
[strike]Reassemble hoover[/strike], spray flea stuff into filters and into cylinder
    [strike]Hoover all of downstairs again[/strike]
    Groom both cats again
    [strike]peel veg for dinner[/strike]
    [STRIKE]Roast beef for dinner[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put other half or two 3rds of joint in freezer[/STRIKE]
Blend some for dinner for Charlie decided not to as the beef is probably too chewy for him

[strike]Hang up wet stuff from WM[/strike]
    [strike]Wash towels[/strike], [strike]then TD[/strike]

    • washed oven gloves
    • washed bath mats
    • put last nights washing up away

Hurrah! Level 3! I did the windows and pictures Friday night right through the house. My chosen extra was to collect borrowed stuff and stuff going out on loan into a big Ikea bag in the boot of the car for when I do visity stuff.
I even picked some flowers out of the garden for a vase.

Telly will dictate whether I start tomorrows list tonight. Actually I might do 'cos I'm going for a happy hour meal after work. No I've already changed my mind, I think I'm tired and pathetic tonight. Ooh, hey maybe my Aunt is coming to visit? :rotfl: sorry, I've just learned that one lately and not had a chance to use it.

Best quit while I'm ahead. Have a lovely evening, a useful day tomorrow and a hug if no-one's hugged you today.

Evening all. I've only done a couple of things on my list as well, so lots for me to do at the end of Holby City.

Welcome to all the new comers.

lil_me - that must have been a tough decision, hope everything goes smoothly on thursday.

muppet - hope your first day in your new job went ok

hatwmb - glad you got a diagnosis, hopefully this means you can get the help that you need.

hev - I'm tempted to join you on the no diet coke, well no pepsi max in my case. I've now run out of the last of the bottles that I had, both at work and at home. I'm not sure how long I'll last though.

boston_uk - so sorry about the house, hope you get a new buyer soon.

£116 on ebay.. :D .. 34 bits of junk out of my house!!!! I am most pleased with that.. most of the stuff that didn't sell was relisted from before so can now go to charity shop.. 'fling'.. anyone any idea when the next cheap/free listing day is??? I have a binbag to list again!.. just to fill my boxes which are slightly emptier!

vacuumed the girly room and the boys room so even though they need gutting and loads of stuff flinging they are much improved on a few days ago.

Might go make a start on mine while I am motivated.. I might get my floordrobe in the cupboard!!! .. That'd be a first!

Just trying to get my copper jar emptied - it is not that I need £3 in pennies, but the jar is too heavy to go on the china cabinet where it is supposed to live.

Then I am going to watch NCIS and drool over the gentlemen. Sigh.

Hopefully DS will let me watch in peace - he has not been his normal happy self today, and has just refused all milk, so I expect a busy night. It is great, though, getting that sort of smile at 3am. I have just sung hole in my bucket more times than is safe for my sanity and am ready to say 'then buy a £$%^&! new one dear Henry!'

Some feeble flapping today, hoping for better tomorrow. Hope weather picks up.

Must get off - show is starting!

    Evening everyone!

My two littlies are being PITA (thanks Michelle;)) as well. It could be the weather, all coped up inside. Usually I can put them in the garden this time of year to burn some energy off - dd started school last September and has been particularly bad after school. I've been playing sausage roll with her to burn off some energy when she gets home. I roll her up in a duvet with her head sticking out the top - you wouldn't believe how much time and energy is spent escaping the duvet! :rotfl:

Pigpen - have you considered taking your spare kiddies videos to a local hospital childrens ward? My littlies have been given alot of disney DVD's by various friends and relatives so they had alot of duplicate videos which we took to the local hospital - we about had our hands bitten off they were so eager to receive them. Apparently they get alot stolen! so they're always wanting replacements.

since coming on here I now to tend to do a 'spit and polish' every day before I go out. Keeping fridge more orderly and clean, defrosted freezer and had good sort out of food. Clean the bathroom and kitchen every day. Place has never looked so tidy. Got to tackle inside of windows this week, will try the vinegar and paper method to see how I get on with that. Do not fret that someone will pop in now as house is presentable.:T
