Oh yes, peg thingies, I have one that I paid about £2 for many years ago, it lives on a hook from the ceiling in our airing cupboard, fab for hanging swimming stuff, kids bath towels and drying smalls etc!

I thought these were rather good as they fold so could be kept in a draw in the kitchen. the £shop ones work perfectly I just have nowhere to store them so between the kids and the dog I loose pegs right left and centre.

Since we had the boiler replaced (well the landlord did) the cupboard at the top of the stairs is just a big empty space it smelt a bit funky at first but now I keep my washing powder in it, it smells lovely.

I have just got the washing in off the line most of its dry! I guess that means a spot of ironing once the small people are asleep.

yep, peggie thingies, I have 4 one in each favourite colour, so everyone's socks and smalls go on their own one and can whip in at a moments notice.....99p each, they paid for themselves over and over.

Back to lurking I'm afraid, a pack of BD escaped from the pound and decided to take up residence and been snapping at my ankles.

I will get back on task as soon as I can do SOMETHING.

They sell these in Matalan, Dunelm Mill, Morrisons, Poundland, Asda (but I don't like the hook on mine, it won't lock onto the line) and Wilkos too. My latest one (I am on my 3rd) came from Asda and cost £1 - as I say though I don't like the hook. The Wilko one I had before locked onto the line. I baulked at Matalan's price of £3.99 :rotfl: but it LOOKED EXCELLENT!

They are brilliant for socks; save line room and can be hung indoors (over the curtain rail) if necessary;)

Been to a course, Got home early. Inspired by the sunshine I decided to clean the bathrrom then decided to do the kitchen floor first (saving water:) before the bathroom.

    House looks MUCH tidier.

Ok folks, I've recently (7 weeks ago ) started work for three days a week and I am drowning. I can't do much beyond getting a wash on and uniform/shirts/ clothes for the next day ironed, lunch boxes made, dinner cooked on workdays. One of the days I do voluntary work a lot of the time which gives me one day to get the house sorted and due to various things I seem to have not even of had that day.

As it stands, this week I have two days in which to sort this !!!! tip of a house so I can then hopefully keep on top of it after that. I intend to do a jobs list for each of the children (3 boys) and they can earn pocket money for doing their jobs.

Would you suggest I just do the list as it stands this week in those two days I have this week? Which will help to bring some semblance of order to the house and I am then hoping I can keep it ticking over till next Wednesday and Thursday. Where I live our weekends are Friday and Saturday but we are usually out and doing things for those days and there is rarely much chance for housework.

    Any suggestions welcome.

Mine's from Wilko - paid about £2 - and it hangs over the shower curtain rod. Saw some in Asda today for £1.50 but, as Valli says, it just has a hook and not a clip to hold it on the line.

Now I want an airer that will sit on the bath ............

Flying minimal - home late from work. Going to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers tomorrow so must leave on time then.

    Night all, sleep well xx
