    Afternoon flyladies

Natty, lovely positive news about Amycat, I hope she continues to do well.

Dusty, I hope tonight is full of celebration for both your DSs.

I am pooped out after a very busy stint at the paid stuff. The house is usually very tidy and pretty clean but it was minging today. I hope my customer appreciates all my toiling!

DS1 has been a real grumpy toad all week, he's a sensitive bod and bottles up rather than talks about problems so I have offered to help clean out his hammy while DS2 is busy tidying their bedroom. Hoping that some quiet time might inspire him to open up as to what's on his mind.

Flying? I vaguely remember that :rotfl: All I have achieved today is I load in the WM and a round of WUDUPA. OH, I did finally remember to top up my screen wash today. It ran out almost two weeks ago :o

I have about 15 minutes worth of ironing which I'll knock through before dinner. We're having hot & sour rhubarb pork tonight, dribbling just thinking about it. Yummers.

How did the boys get on, dusty?

Kids bathed, currently snacking and watching a DVD. I've just put a whites wash on. Going to colour my hair tonight. Spare bed, stripped and remade, now has my little mini suitcase on ready for things to drop in tomorrow. DD and I having a quiet one tomorrow so planning on getting plenty done and organised.

Work finished for the week technically, although I might do some "in the background" later.

Well DS2 failed his driving test, getting too near to a parked car so he is not happy. DS1 felt his interview went really well, he'll hear next week. They had 44 applicants so he is pleased he has got to the interview stage and doesn't feel he could have done more so what will be will be.

I've made chicken pie and a lot of mess in the kitchen, dropped a bag of stuff off for a charity project (the knitted teddies) and one load of washing.

    Where has the day gone?

DS1 has taken DS3 (who has a sore throat) to cricket so I'll tidy up the kitchen and make gingerbread men.

    Hi everyone
DH has gone to visit his mum and dad in Devon, DD is at scouts and DS is in his room. He threw a mega strop on the drive home from school because I dared to do a detour to run an errand meaning he lost 20 minutes of precious gaming time. When we did get home, he stomped off upstairs and hasn't resurfaced - not even for food. Let him fester I say :mad:

Got to work this morning to be met by a concerned TA who wanted me to check on what a girl had written when I was on the course yesterday.

They were comparing themselves with another class member and recording similarities and differences.

She wrote - 'She has tits and I don't'

TA asked if I could I check what she meant.

    Didn't need to - TIGHTS I said!

(What she wrote is a phonetically plausible spelling!) they are 6 or 7;)

ETA - sorry for DS Dusty
