  • Hi - late finish to double HHC - well it was actually one clean and one cook!!! MAde sc chicken casserole and in the process melted my new non slip chopping board:eek:. Now looking for either a safer place for trays and chopping board or solitary confinement for sc!!!

Now decluttering a coffee and HHrest then will do more washing, hoover downstairs and HHI.

Must do more work on WWI as about to become manic here with other voluntary jobs. It has taken me 6 months to find the right ones so very happy now.

Hope everyone doing well. Is it quiet on here today? - sorry I haven't been up to noticing for the past several days - but where is Piggers?

I've been giving an earful to v0dafone this morning, lol. Over 3 weeks since I requested a NUC and they still haven't done it. Anyway. They are doing it now.

Been up to town and got a few bits in, biscuits mainly ;) for the conference at the weekend. Done some paperwork sorting, some craft bits with DD and some laundry.

Will do a spot more pottering shortly :D then DD parents eve (well, afternoon!) then collecting DS on my way out...

    Pasta for tea, I think...

Afternoon all. I haven't posted for a few days, The kiddies getting over the sick bug but still being poorly and at home, and then DH getting the bug Tuesday, then the pup followed, Made it hectic here (I am very surprised I am still standing). I managed nothing form the lists, I was reading even though I didn't post. I have managed about 9 loads of washing though, really could do with my washing line back up outside.

Kiddies now back at school and DH just gone back to work so going to print of the list and see if I can at least manage all the general cleaning this week.

Off to print list and see what I can get done in next hour and then see what I can bribe DC with to help clear the list (frozen is at the cinema for a £1 this weekend, wonder if that will work?? The boy's love to earn extra computer time as they are only allowed on at weekends).

Right, off to print that list...

  • Oh Pigpen - sorry you're not well - wondered where you were. That is a difficult one isn't it?

Had my first productive day for over a week. 4 loads of washing on and dry or drying , hoovered right through, tidied right through (apart from paper mountain on dining room table:eek:). Sorted our finances and did meal plan and shopping list. HHI and PA and made sc casserole for evening meal, WUDUPA. Also found service records for three more of the soldiers commemorated on our local memorial.

Feeling rather tired but have a deadline for completing the research so doing a little more now.

Sorry gone off lists this week but it was the only way to go - place looking much better now.
Tomorrow's plan - banking and shopping - whenever it stops raining then kitchen, bathroom and HH paperwork with a dust round if time!!!

Then I'll have the weekend off - or in the garden if it fines up sufficiently.

Have a lovely evening everyone and get well soon for the poorly ones. (and that includes me LOL!!!)

GWS vibes for Piggers and Bossy

I have a 'new' toy. I have been gifted a s/h Jones Brother Sewing Machine! This is excellent - now I will not have an excuse not to make the fabric I 'removed' from my sister into luxurious cushions.

Don't think you'll be seeing me on the Sewing Bee anytime soon though - not unless they have a 'bodgers' show:rotfl:

Bossy and Piggers wishing you well.

Quite pleased with today's flying. I'll update my list once the kids have been fed, just want to finish hoovering upstairs and do the ironing still today.

    Ironing done.

Terrible altercation with DS1. He kicked off in front of me and DH. I'm glad I'm out to Pilates tonight. DH can deal with the fall out. He was working up the road in newm@rket so was home 5.30! Unheard of!

Bossy and Pigpen hope you feel better soon.
