Afternoon flyladies
Thanks for all the tip top advice on puberty ridden boys! I was under the impression that boys mature later than girls, I had taken that to mean physically but I guess it's more on an emotional level. I think DS1 feels better for me having asked and although he is horribly uncomfortable with the prospect of discussing things with me, he knows that I will always listen, be honest and try not to make it any more embarrassing than needs be! I was brought up in a house where nothing "personal" was discussed and I am determined to make sure all my children know that they can talk to me.
Hold the front page! I have vacuumed out my car for the first time in 6 monthsIt was disgusting but it didn't take that long to do and it looks a million times better now.
Very pleased to have decluttered work for this week, the sun is streaming in the windows and it's bloomin' lovely :cool:Will finish my coffee and get stuck into a few jobs before I have to collect DS2 and then drive to Wales to pick up DD.0 -
fizz.. it is the opposite in my family.. we talk about everything openly and no one bats an eye.. but nothing is sacred.. DS1 was talking about the size and colour of my areola when I was feeding one of the girls.. I gave up trying to be discrete feeding at home when everyone has already seen everything I own! He was also discussing genital herpes with my friend..
.. DS1's gf loves that she can come here and ask about everything .. and she has.. Sometimes she gets too embarrassed to ask so DS1 asks on her behalf.. in front of her! I don't think it is possible to embarrass any of us
I hope he feels a bit better after your chat though.. growing up isn't easy at all.

Hello flyladies and gents. I don't think I've posted all week as I've been so busy with the paid stuff, but I've finally finished for the week and can breathe. So I've been lurking on the thread when I can and have been fluttering to make sure the basics have got done around the house.
But I am doing one thing from today's list later - I am going out with DH, to the opera, no less!
This weekend I'm hoping the weather will stay dry enough to be able to get out in the garden. No real other plans apart from that.
Can I have some flylady posivibes please for DD who has another interview next week? Thanks in advance.
Love and hugs to all in need xSpend less now, work less later.0 -

Ooops that's my fault I though it was the same day as DS1.
Mine is very Happy with his gifts, we have had steak for dinner and homemade chocolate cake, so lucky mine are homebirds and happy with the simple pleasures of life.
Just over a glass of prosecco and I'm hitting my limit. Going to just do the ironing. DH can wash up as he is home. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
