Ahem...Sorry, just had a little business to take care of. Let this be a warning to all things w-a-g-g-y who dare to venture onto Tiff turf!
Well it's nice to see the thread filling up with love again. Don't worry - I'm sure I can do something to change that given enough time.


I do have a couple of things to say on the recent events guys...there - that didn't take long to upset the balance, did it?!...as a couple of things don't sit right with me and I can't keep my muzzle shut. I mean no malice to anyone - and if you think I'm in the wrong please shout out, ok? I just want to give my humble opinion is all.

I hope no-one took offence at anything I said yesterday. I didn't mean to say that people are not entitled to an opinion, just that we should word it with respect. I'm saying all this only because I'm concerned for a couple of people involved in this.

I notice that shaz hasn't posted again since her last post when she felt upset and imho, she did nothing wrong... If you're reading shaz, please post and let us know you're ok hun.

Equally, I commend gem for speaking out against something she disagreed with and for doing it nicely. And gem most certainly has the right to defend herself - again she did nothing wrong imho and was trying to defend someone, feeling that ccstar didn't understand - in my humble opinion. I don't think she was being malicious and gem hun, you are part of the old guard here and very much loved. Believe me, I would have done the same.

We do have to be tolerant on this thread especially - but that does not mean we should accept abuse. I don't want it to be a situation where people take sides or one that our new friends may make judgements from, without knowing us very well.

As has been noted by others, sadly ccstar has been a part of a similar situation previously. I don't want to take away any concern for ccstar - I just hope that it will reassure you if you are worried about her, to know that she has left the thread in anger at other times and eventually does tend to post again. She is also a long time member of the thread and I'm sure she knows she can post here still, just as anyone can. I hope you're feeling better ccstar - I don't know why you exploded so harshly hun and tbh, I thought it way over the top. All I can say is look after yourself dear and good luck house-hunting.

And ilgd - you've got a kind heart hun - try not to worry too much ok?

We all care about each other here and no-one is ganging up on anyone - but, to be fair, ccstar seemed to anticipate that and kind of pre-empted it. People here will always defend someone from an unfair post and if you post like that, you're going to get a reaction. I'm sure ccstar will post again when she's ready to and she probably just needs some time away for herself.

That's it peeps, Tiffy thoughts on the matter over with. Off to do a smartie inventory! :dance: (Will explain things later to our new friends.;))

I wish everyone - ccstar included - the best Sunday you can have. If you're really unlucky, I'll post again later!

morning all, i'm as ok as can be expected, bit stressed bout the meeting with ds, school, and police tommorrow, but nothing i can do about it today, so gonna go for a long drive, over to lake windermere, never been before, so somet new for us, and kids taking their portable dvd players to keep them occupied in car.
thanks to everybody for your support, love and understanding, it means so much to me.

Morning! hope you are all ok I am fine today,off to my parents for lunch,Its their Ruby 40th wedding anniversary today I am taking them a box of celebrations chocs first,then in the week mum is going to get a plant that she will plant in the garden,dad has got a dvd I brought for him so they have done well

Have a great time today, your parents have done well!!! I love the plant idea as it is a constant reminder every time they look at it. Celebrations are the best chocs, I love the malteser one even although they changed it. I hope I get some for mothers day.
