    Hi bmf!:hello:
    How's you angel?

    quote=BigMummaF
All three children are from my marriage, & it's strange you should ask if there is a big age gap because there is less than four years between them all & I've often wondered if that were the cause.
I hope you weren't offended hun - it was just a thought as I read about no.1 DS taking charge. There's 2 years between my sister and me (I'm the eldest of the 3 of us)and we fought like cat and dog. There's 6 years between me and my brother and we fought like cat and dog but we get on much better. When i was 11, I used to hope I was adopted.:D ;)

I think it is due to No1 son always having been 'responsible' even as a toddler, the middle one is.. ..hard to describe....typical Virgo without the tidy gene! He's really quite mersenary & will only do things that are of benefit to him directly, while the youngest falls between the two depending on which way the wind blows;) !
Maybe I should have checked out the astrology for the answer - I'm a Capricorn (the Tiff kind of course!), then my sister who's an Aries, and then my brother who's a Virgo. Mum's a Capricorn and Dad was a Virgo. Now I'm just confused.confused.gif

Anyhoo, No3 has had an emergency dental app & has an abscess. While I sympathise whole-heartedly, I am a little peeved at the continual references to him having to miss a night out tomorrow, to celebrate a couple of mates birthdays this week, like I called up & ordered gross bad timimg just to spite:rotfl:
Enough of my griping...my good mood hasn't completely disappeared but is fraying around the corners! Peaceful Minds Folks, BMFx/quote
As a mother hun, I'm sure you know that when they're suffering, they double it and give it out to us.;) He'll be glad to get rid of the pain - toothache is terrible, as are abscesses. Surely getting rid of that will be worth a couple of nights out on the tiles?
I hope abscess and attitude have both disappeared and that he's giving you extra hugs to make up for it.;) When's DS1 coming home?
Hope all is well with you hun. Take care.hug.gif

    How is everyone today?
    Isn't it a lovely day?
Got up bright and early, did loads of housework and had a run on my treadmill followed by a lovely shower and then I took Kiki for a walk while my towels were in washer and stopped off at my fiance's sister's for a croissant for lunch. :)

Now me and Kiki are chilling a little.
Might do a bit Ebay - but only if I can be bothered :)

    Hi dawnylou!:hello:
How are you today hun? Good to hear from you. ;)

Sounds like a recipe for the perfect day - if you take out the housework, the treadmill, walking the kiki and the laundry parts.:D ;)
Glad you had a good time angel.

    Hi karrie!:hello:
Are you any better today sweetie?

    quote=Karrie;
    Hi Guys
Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Been having a !!!!!! few weeks. You know when everything you touch, everything you do goes wrong?
Oh yeah - do I know that feeling well!
Is there anything we can help with hun?:o

well that's been my few weeks. And I have a lot of anger at the moment  I don't know why. I have never felt this angry before. I want to literally punch something. This could apparently be because of nicotine withdrawal. Tell you what, if I continue to feel like this, I will go and buy a pack of fags
If you've stopped hun, don't wreck your hard work! Well done you for giving up karrie :T . (Tiff says as she lights up :o ). It's in the top 2 on my list along with weight loss.
Just pile up those cushions and pillows and let rip hun.;)

I hope everyone is well. I haven't read back (forgive me).
    Oh, all right then.;) :A

Tiff - Hope you and your mum are well.
I'm ok thank you hun and Mum's holding her own, bless her.

Oh and I have discovered that I am in love with..............Keifer Sutherland!! Ohhh er! Just watched the 1st series of 24 and kinda fell for him. I am a sad ol' bint really. :D He's not even that good looking I just like the character Jack Bauer! Shut up Karrie. Ok. I am off. Gotta go to a party which I really don't want to go to./quote
I hope they didn't force you to enjoy yourself hun.;)
There are many qualities I'd look for in the next Mr.Tiff but the main one is that his guide dog mustn't bite me.
Justin Timberlake is near the top, James Stewart, Bruce Willis, Orlando Bloom, Mel Gibson,.....Rowan Atkinson and Lee Evans... well after all, I am in therapy!:rotfl:
Hope things are better for you hun.hug.gif

Had a great day on Sat Tiff and never spent a penny! :)
I like walking Kiki - its quite relaxing but I worry she will get bored as there are not many places I can walk her.
I would like to be able to take her down the Dene but I find it too scary :(

Hi everyone :hello:hope you are all OK. Thanks Tiff for taking the time to find all those links for me :A and I will look into the possibility of respite. We don't have a social worker but we have a key worker attached to our local family support team, they provide services for families with disabled children. We have been offered support in various forms in the past, but haven't taken them up, as DS didn't want to stay with anybody else at the time. We are going to have to be cruel to be kind I think from now on though, as I need my sanity. DS does get DLA and I may even think about going through the 'Direct Payments' scheme to obtain respite, that way I can employ the carer myself.

I'm doing Jury Service in two weeks time and DH is off work for a fortnight, so he will look after the boys. As strange as it sound, I'm actually looking forward to doing it, as it's a chance to get away from all the stress at home lol.

Thanks again Tiff for the sound advice, it's much appreciated :A .

    (((Hugs to all)))
