    Hi,

I have lurked for a bit so thought I would say hello! Everyone seem lovely on here so I am just jumping in! It does seem so rude though!

The fact I have been up all night as I slept most of yesterday is rather annoying. I tend to do this sometimes (too often) as a "clever" way of me making myself feel more depressed or anxious! Or to avoid stuff. Rubbish. Venlaflaxine can't help with this- only I can!:o

Anyhow, for any of you that have a look at this board when they get up or first thing in the morning... good morning!! Hope you have the best day possible.:A

    Yes, they're ace! :)

Kilmarnock's shat out quite a few decent bands for some reason. We'll ignore that Simon's from Ayr...

You worry that you don't act depressed enough to be here? Maybe you should change the sig to something from the NIN back catalogue, that should do the trick. :) Or even stay with Biffy and go for Folding Stars? Almost brings a tear to my eye.

I don't think there was anyone checking my meds dosages at the door to make sure i'm depressed enough to be here, so I think it's ok to smile without being accused of being a faker. :)

    edit: gnight :)
We all have our ups and downs, I'm just glad to say I'm on an up at the moment! Nin are great, but a sig is just not big enough to quote anything that makes sense... Believe me I've thought about it! Apart from hurt, and I'm not that depressed...

    Har-ro Newbieshappy-smiley-8772.gifPlease don't stand on ceromony---no passport checks here cuz it's open house:D

I don't do names, cuz I always get em wrong, so I'll just say a few bits & if it's of interest then fine. If not--ignore me---I'm used to it:o

The questionairre you fill out for your GP is only a guide to how you are feeling; there are no right or wrong answers OK? Please..be as honest as possible with your answers, cuz it not only helps the doc determine the correct level of any meds you may be given, but helps you realise what's going on in your head.

It may be that where there are kiddies, you might be in the throes of a little Post Natal Depression. We are all supposed to be 'SuperMarm' with ultra tidy homes & squeaky clean kids, but in real life we all know that baked bean juice is stronger than any washing powder known to man:o And it is definately Sod' Law that the one time you're place is reasonably acceptable to visitors & the babes are little cherubs........no-one calls.....but just when you've had spag bol for dinner & there's flour all over the floor from an impromptu baking session, the ferkin mayoress turns up with a tv crew:D Just remember that there is a world of difference between asking for help cuz you want to be the best mother you can to your children, & complete negligence. You've done the first one---so let's hope it's nothing more than a wee bit run down, but the doc can't help unless you answer the questions OK?

The bathroom quandry has followed me around all my lifeshy-smiley-9438.gif But I've found these wonderful little tablets that I keep in my bag "just in case".....I get them from Superdrug, or Sainsbugs do them too, & you can chew on one if the motions become too frequent shall I say. They're excellent to carry cuz you don't need water--or a spoon--& once you know you've got them, it kinda takes the 'urge' away. It has got to be nerves cuz me muvva is like it & unfortunately 2 of my 3 offspring have 'inherited' the trait too. Can't do much about the fluid side tho, cuz the meds I'm on cause me to tiddle too often for my likingshy-smiley-17313.gif Not sure if I can tell you the name of the tabs here, but if you go to the bit that sells the indigestion remedies & look for stuff to stop you pooping, you'll see a few alternatives. HTH.

To all of yooze, I wish you well....I feel a tad ikkit today, & I've got the sneezuls tooill-violated-dead-smiley-5386.gifso I'm gunna curl up on the sofa with p-u-p I]he makes an excellent hot water bottle & has a built-in furry cover to tickle your toes too:D [/I & watch some [STRIKE]trashy[/STRIKE] quality day-time telly.....

Hope your day is relatively good, but keep warm, keep smiling & Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

Just a quick question. Piggeh, you say you spent a few years as an alcoholic. How did you recovery/stop drinking?
