RBK - I dont think there are any Alliance pharmacies near me:( - I can't abide Lloyds. I had a meeting at work today and the boss cleared the air - seems too that she had given someone the sack and he has been causing trouble. I now feel happier about signing the contract plus I have been told that I can re-negotiate my salary upwards (rubs hands with glee - £21K will do nicely ta very much:D ). She explained why she hadn't submitted her accounts to Companies House and said that her new accountant would be sending them. I really enjoyed my business meeting too although I did feel scruffy in smart trousers and jumper. Unfortunately, I had intended to wear a suit but the skirt was so tight that I couldn't sit down and then after visiting the bathroom I couldn't pull the dratted thing down either:eek: It took me 10 minutes to get myself out of it:eek: I don't think I had better eat anything for the next month plus I need to get off the bus on the other side of town so it takes me an hour to walk to work (well maybe not, I shall get off at my usual stop and take 15 mins to walk to work).
Hope all is well with everyone and hugs to all that need them ((((((HUGS))))), Let's hope the weather improves because I am fed up with rain, snow would be an improvement but hot sunshine would be better.:D
Rose - your garden looks nice except for the river - hope the flood recedes soon.0 -

Hi dawny, I hope today got better for you. (((HUGS)))
I'm sure your mum wouldn't have let you down if she thought it would upset you-she probably was just trying to please everyone.

Just needed to rant.
As it happens the weather got really bad, I was soaked by time I got to town (and late for my docs appointment) then I had to use the public phone to get in touch with MIL (to be) as I had loads of missed calls off her but my mobile was nearly dead so didn't want to risk making a call from it.
Then I lost a contact and had to rush to optician because I couldn't see properly, my head was stotting already from crying in docs and eyesight was making it worse.
After a 10 minute wait the optician had a good poke and prod around in my eye and dyed it (wasn't sure if contact was lost in my eye somewhere!!) Anyway it wasn't so she gave me a new contact to use for time being and told me to take them out ASAP and use glasses for a day or so to rest my eye.
Then I met MIL (to be) and we had a coffee in Asda til Mam finished work and then Dad phoned to say they had no work due to weather so he was coming home and would pick Mam up and fetch her through so I went home.
Disappointed I never got to look around shops though.
Anyway after a rough first half of the day I started to brighten up a bit.
It cheered me up to see my parents and then my Fiance was home and we played some Mario Galaxy together
He is on hol soon so we will get a week together! I can't wait. I'm hoping I will feel a lot better with him around
How was your day?
I am a wimp too when it comes to the doctors.
Tuesday is my worst day as it is the day I see my counsellor.
RBK - My week got so much better and then everything seemed to take a turn for the worse again!
I am so up and down constantly.
I feel selfish as I just come on here ranting all of the time and I never do or say anything that can support anyone else or help them! I'm useless! lol
Anyway my doctor said yesterday that we have other options available so if the counselling along with this medication doesn't work I will be referred to the mental health team.
Not really sure what that involves?!? Sounds scary to me though.
I felt really good on Friday after getting done up and surprising my Fiance - he kept telling me how gorgeous I wasand I kept thanking him and he was saying how nice it was for me to accept compliments rather than brushing them off.
CBT definately sounds like it may be helpful for me - but I have been such a negative person for so long now I am unsure as to whether it can be changed.
I hope you heal ok and don't end up with any infections!!
I always feel a little bad when I see that you have again resorted to that because you are such a nice person, I don't like to see you finding it so hard to deal with things. You simply don't deserve it!
I can understand why you do it though, and everyone deals with things in a different way.
You SH whereas I run away from everything and everyone - it's just our way of trying to take control I guess?
But as I said earlier I am a wimp so I choose the least painful way to deal with things!! I used to drink a lot to deal with things - of course it didn't help, it was just another way of running away from everything really. But now I have been told I am not to drink.
I do still have the odd ickle short or glass of wine - but I won't go on a proper night out with friends or anything as I am scared I won't be able to resist the temptation to slip into my old ways where drink is concerned if I am out... :rotfl:
I hope everyone else is well today. Please everyone be nice to yourselves today
I have to check out now as I need to pop to Town.
Want to go to Boots and get some Time Delay stuff with my skincare voucher for a hamper I am making. Also want to pop into Asda as I saw some reduced heart shaped glittery confetti yesterday!! Hope they have some still!!!
And want to pop to Home Bargains to try and get something for Funnyfreckle as she doesn't have a Home Bargains
So busy busy morning!!Dream of being mortgage free....

Hello everyone,
Today is the day! Im not looking forward to it at all! I just want to go back to bed and curl up with OH, where it is warm. So cold in here, will have to check boiler in a mo.
Firstly wanted to return Tiff's hug but dont know how you all use your own pics
Dawn - I hope today goes well. You're right about people dealing with things in different ways, I sleep so I dont have thoughts in my head. Some days I could stay in bed all day sleeping. I also finding sleeping stops me talking and burdening people and also stops me SH. Have fun at home bargains, I picked up a double pack of large dairy milk in there for £1.29 the other day! One of my favourite shops
Take care all
