Well I've walked to the shop three times now with no real panic attacks. Am very pleased :)!
Great news, what a step forward for you :)
Morning everyone. Mum still in tremendous pain, worse if anything so will get in touch with the doc tomorrow and she about what we can do, stronger painkillers etc.

I'm sorry to hear your mum is in pain :( its horrible when someone you love is hurting, and there is nothing you can do about it by yourself. x

I think I am suffering from sleeping sickness - I got up late (9.30am), sorted out some newspapers and took them to the paperbank and went and bought more Sunday papers, came home, sat down with some biscuits (they were sitting in full sight so they had to be eaten) and a mug of coffee, read the papers. I then fell asleep, I have only just woken up and feel as though I could sleep for hours.

I promised myself that I would tidy up my flat but I just haven't got the energy or the inclination. I should also go to the bank across the road to draw out some money but again I can't be bothered. I hate feeling like this and wish I could shake off the doldrums. Think I'll go back to bed and see what happens.

:hello: everyone, and hope you are all having a nice day.
I am meant to be in the library as I type this, but it such horrible weather outside and I cannot seem to motivate myself enough to get dressed and walk the 20 minutes to get there. I will do at some point though, I really have to go and do some more work. I also need to practise the piano for 2 hours, so I have that to do as well. I normally have sundays 'off' where I don't do anything, but I have so much to do at the moment :(
I'm fasting today. I've been comfort eating a lot recently and have gained a bit of weigh and just feel so horrible. I do this sometimes, as the only way to get out of the cycle (for me anyway) is to not eat for one day. It seems to help, but its hard not eating! -sigh- I wish I could just eat like a normal person.
(HUGS) to those who want/need them.
    sf xx

Horace, sorry you're feeling like that. Sometimes when I sleep in late, I feel more tired than I do when I get up early. I think its your body realising how tired it actually is, because you've had more sleep. (if you get me? :o) When I feel like you are (and today is one of them) I make a list of things I want to get done that day, and then it makes me feeling really proud of myself if I can tick something off the list - would that maybe help for you?

Sunday, 9:30am and late aren't words that go together. I got up at 11:20am!!
I read you are near brum. I'm a brummie ex-pat btw (C'mon you Villa!).

I'm having a cheese trying time lately. I've never tried stuff like the b4.
I love gruyere and jalsberg would go well with carlsberg.
Just tried emmental but it was a bit mild for my liking.
My fave is still white stilton with apricots - If I was king it's all I'd eat.

I need to get off the sofa and go to the shops. But it's miserable out there (and will be til june probably).

Love and hugs to you all

It's the first indication of how he feels about my work.

  • RBK it sounds like she doesn't understand a thing about it. I would be that ****ed off too if it were me. It has nothing to do with her especially if there's no comprehension of what she has seen.

Stay true to your heart nomatter what happens

    Will be in touch x x x

Gillette - football stuff does not compute with me - I prefer the other game with the odd shaped ball:rotfl:

I have been busy, not with housework but made myself a bacon sandwich for lunch. I spoke to a mate who rant me to say he was lost in Birmingham and could I direct him to the Art Gallery (its a tad difficult for me as I navigate by shops and not roads), he hasn't rung me back so I guess he must have found the place OK.

I have been posting on another forum about a company that I am doing a work trial with - it would appear from other people that the company is a huge con and are about to be struck off the companies register for not submitting accounts. It is all so frustrating as I was enjoying the job but now I feel conned. It would appear that my colleagues in the London office haven't been paid for months and when they have received a cheque it has bounced. Now, I am in a quandry, do I quit JSA and sign up or do I walk away and hope that something else comes along?

I have prepared a list of things that I need to do - so I shall gradually work my way down it. I shall endeavour to do a little bit and often - I can clean the bathroom when I have a bath etc.

Hugs to those that need it today. I am looking out of the window and although it is dry, some huge black clouds are looming over the the flats in the distance. I can't wait for Spring - I hate this dull weather.
