Really fed up today and can't be bothered to go out, although it is lovely and sunny! :o
No energy, still got this cold hanging over me and it just ain't shifting at all, I think another visit to Doc's is coming to get some more Anti's!

Dumped the other yin i was seeing last night, i just can't be arsed with anyone just now, It's this split (last ex) and the mess of sorting things out which is holding me back from moving on in my life, the sooner it gets sorted, the better for us both to get along in life, but he's doing nothing about it so it's dragging along, gonna try phoning him later to see if he can get his finger out!!!!

Never mind, not long till hols now, and even at that i can't be bothered, suppose i Just need a good hard kick up the ar*e!

    Sorry for ranting on.

Hope you all have a gr8 weekend.

    Huggzzzzz to u all.

    Hi Steph

Lavender essential oil is very good for itchy bites, or you could try taking an anti-histimine. Also you could try putting cool flannels on the itchy bits.

Tiff, good to see you back. Sorry to hear you've had a bad time, hopefully next week will be better.

Good to see your back Tiff hope things are better for you now.

Just an update in case anyone is interested spoke with my OH about his controlling behaviour he says he loves me and is sorry for being a prat in his life.

I am in one way relieved that i can see his control issues have been about him being scared of loosing me, but also have angry feelings about the way he has been putting me down and probably contributed to my depression i can see so many things that make sense now and why he would be irritated if i asked cetain question and why he defended his family bullying me over standing up for me because i think he thought they were trying in their way to help in from loosing me.

I am looking forward to the counselling now as i have mixed feelings about the way i have been treated and am concerned that if this had been me behaving in this way i would have been more remorseful but after doing some research on controlling behaviour its seems as if some people dont recognise how much they can be harming you and you cant fix them only manage them and slowly rebuild your life and confidence and be more assertive about your own needs.

So i feel i have a long journey to take and my GP has recommended i go back on antidepressents to cope with my emotions. At the moment i feel slightly numb that someone can behave this way towards someone they love but feel im not in the right place to make judgement until i get more professional advice on this matter.

Hope everyone else is having a good day

Nice to see you back Tiff - sorry to hear that you have had the dreaded lurgy too, hope you'll soon feel 100%.

Steph - get yourself some aloe vera gel or some tea tree oil - aloe vera will cool the bites down and will help with the itching as will the tea tree oil. Failing that get yourself some non-drowsy antihistamine tablets: e.g. benadryl or the like. Wear mittens in bed to stop yourself from scratching.

Well, I seem to be moving through sludge today - one minute time is dragging and then before I know it an hour has fled past. I went and met with my old school chum today, we looked at a room for her UK after wedding party as well as having lunch at the place. We mooched around the attached craft centre and I ended up buying myself a lovely leather briefcase for work (cost £37.50 - I was chuffed as I have seen similar ones costing over £100:eek: ). Lunch was fab and I didnt get back until 4pm.

I feel as though I have sleeping sickness as I could sleep for hours, plus I feel really fat today so now I am thinking of omitting either wheat or dairy products from my diet to see if they are causing the bloatedness. Don't suppose the raspberry/chocolate roulade at lunchtime helped.

I feel awkward because there are some things amiss with my new job but after chatting to my mate, I have decided to take the plunge and sign up with the company. I figure that a) I have a job, b) its experience and will be easier to get a job in a similar field once I have the job title on my CV, c) it is easier to get a job when you have a job because being on JSA has been hell as I have applied for 200 jobs and not even had one interview. Guess, I must be a risk taker but hey ho...these things have to be done once in a while.

I can't stop yawning, I feel fat and lazy, I have a humungous amount of housework to do and I just can't be bothered.

Think I am going to curl up on the sofa with the newspaper, tv remote and a box of chocs.

    Cya laters.
