Hi ccstar, I don't really know what to say other than I hope things get better soon. Has it been a recent thing, him being like this, or has it been going on for a long time?

CCSTAR ... It can't be easy for you living in the house under those cicumstances..... remember there is only so much you can do.... we all have to take responsibilities for our selves and you need to think about yourself

What did he do? What made you say enough? I feel that most of my depressed feeling stems from how I live and emotional restrictions I feel within my home. I don't want anyone saying I bring it on myself, I have tried to fight the feeling for years but if someone is hell bent on being a killjoy, you can only take so much till you get bought down. I wanted to leave sooner but lack of money and having a young child stopped me. I have the means and son is 20, so nothing is stopping me except:

I am feeling scared of getting a place of my own, I would rent initially as I don't know where to settle and wonder how agents treat women on their own, who have the means but don't have a job. I am worried about that too being nearly female and 44 and not worked for years full time but done lot of other things apart from bring up our son.

I am worried I might be prejudiced against. I have big issues about being a woman from when I was 22 and felt it when I was looking for work when I graduated. I really envy my son who is almost 20, but he isn't making the most of being a young male.

Well I had a laugh this evening. I went to the corner shop. Now that may not sound a big deal but I have panic attacks and it is one of my most hated things for some reason. But I the call of chocolate was too much and with Mum laid up, well I gritted my teeth and went out. Got to the shop pretty much okay, walked in and burst into laughter because the MSE songs (I fought the lloyds) was playing and I entered to the lyric about finding moneysavingexpert.com being the best thing. Immediately I thought, well I canj think of a thread of people whol'll be wishing me well. Bought lots of choccie and actually quite enjoyed the walk back. So thanks for being there with me lol!

Well done Bizzybek :T Next time you set off for some choccy you will have positive thoughts to remember that may help you overcome any panic you feel..hope the choccies are good.

Haven't had that positive a day really and off work till wed..with no plans. Wish I could shake this off...its like a dark cloud descends and I don't know how to make it go away x
