Just when you thought it was safe to go back on t'internet..... biggrin.gif

    Hi guys!:hello:
    Firstly, before anything else...sSig_missyou.gif

I'm hoping we're all safe and sound this morning. Many apologies for the lack of Tiffing over the last few days peeps and sincere thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. When you're at your lowest, it makes a world of difference to know that someone thinking of you and caring. But more on that another time guys - feel like I've neglected you enough.redface.gif

On top of everything else, my pc decided to throw tantrums and go on a work-to-rule!throw.gif As you can see, I applied all of my technical skills & hopefully all is resolved - either that or it's just trying to lull me into a false sense of security! As a result though, I lost some more recent pms I'd saved elsewhere, so if you haven't heard from me please just send again.

I haven't been able to check in yet, so I don't know what's been going on - nothing new there then! confused1.gifbiggrin.gif

I hope everyone is wrapped up warm and toasty - would you believe it actually snowed here Sunday night?! Not deep snow - a cm or 2 - and all washed away by Moanday morning. Maybe it's a sign we'll have a white Christmas - I must check in with bmf's knees.wink.gif

Tiffy hugs to everyone with appointments, treatment, work, counselling, interviews, meetings and to anyone who is struggling or ill.sLo_hug2.gif Good luck to sazzy for her counselling tonight too. action-smiley-033.gif

I'll try and cat-chup as soon as I can. Wishing everyone a great Mewsday - it's gotta be good for someone!wink.gif
Be kind to yourselves guys and safe journeys to all.sLo_hug2.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

We had an horrendous thunderstorm last night, with hailstones as big as footballs.....hands behind back & twisting toe into carpet.....it was really loudanyway:o

Strange tho it sounds, my B-I-L always has a nose bleed when snow is around, but don't expect me to offer to do his laundry just so I can check his hankies:eek: _pale_

Oh lordy....will things ever change? I got caught out BIG time last night, when a friend I hadn't seen called round. There was washing in the machine waiting to be hung; the worktops full of carp, due mainly to the shelf collapsing in the carp cupboard; & me in me snugglies cuz I was going up to bed & leaving the offspring to fight over the telly:sad:

Luckily she's a long time friend who has always known that my housekeeping skills leave a lot to be desired, but I think even she was shocked at my squalour. I would move out meself, but it's the thought of burrowing under mounds of GKW that keeps me here:o

A lot of the trouble is the house itself....you need 30 6" Xhead screws just to hang a postcard, so trying to find somewhere:confused: to put extra cupboards is a real nightmare. Consequences are almost everything is on show; steamer, food processor, toaster, water filter, 1l bottle sunflower oil....all have to live on the work surfaces or cooker hob. Then one of the shelves in the 'broom' cupboard just gave way so the bottles of white vinegar, squash, ketchup etc are all scattered on the table:mad:
ANNNNND since they put in radiators, the dust has been just terrible:( & getting worse now the heat is actually on...would those little vase thingies make any difference:rolleyes: cuz I open windows & doors whenever I can.
If more architechs had to live with the necessary evils of day-to-day living, perhaps we'd get more sensible house designs with proper storage:angry:

Big Mumma is a Chuffed Off Mumma today, so I'm gunna go lay down in a darkened room & listen to whales.........

How's Amy's leg? Me don't wy kit when poor wikkle haminnuls are poorly:cry:

I'm off out in a minute for p-u-p-'-s skool. It's been pi$$itently raining all day, so he's only had a quick run round the block, so we've been doing his homework instead! What's the betting he'll have no interest when he's supposed to show them all how clever he is:rotfl:

Holby City tonight so probably won't be on til later, so just in case I'll wish you all a warm dry evening now & Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

    :hello: Everyone,

I managed to get my cleaning done :) my parents came to see me for a bit then when they left I resumed it,then I had dinner of Mince Beef Hotpot which I just had to microwave and it was soon ready, then I went to my club for a couple of hours, left early as it threw it down, went to get some bananas and milk and ingestion tablets as I needed them :)

Holby City is indeed on tonight and I will be watching it,I had an early bath this afternoon as I got really cold from being out in the wet so I washed my hair as well :) I read my love it magazine which I got from the newsagents too :)

Have a nice evening everyone :)

  • Hi all,i've not been around for ages ,i kinda almost got romantically involved with someone on another forum, its all over now and i feel like crap but its for the best,i know that happened in the alcohol thread here and i most certainly don't recommend it ,lucky for me the other person lives on the other side of the world so it was all just 'talk' but the intent was there.

hope everyones ok and i'll start dropping in again

    Kind regards
