I've already faxed and posted a letter through to Sefton Council Tax about your case and their attempts to recover Council Tax from the date you left Sefton up to March 08. All I can do now is wait until they contact me or I will try them again tomorrow afternoon. They should take the account back from the bailiffs s and deal with us that was off M.I.N.D:D

That's great John, so pleased they're sorting it out for you :T

I think this board is a god send. I've been coming on MSE for over a year but only found this board recently and everyone has been so supportive and they make me feel better because I know i'm not alone and I know i'm not "weird" for feeling this way.

    Take care x

    P.S. Come on Liverpool :T:T

    Hi john!:hello:
How are you hun? Thanks for keeping us posted john. We will get this sorted out, hun.

I dont have a CPN and waitingfor appointment for psychiatrist, i get middle rate care and low rate mobility. Only just got bailiff letter today and its dated 25th oct and says coming in next two weeks!
Thanks for the information hun. Do you have a social worker john? Do you see your psychiatrist regularly?

my trouble is when i get depressed i sleep a lot and cant motivate myself to get round to doing things, then it all gets worse and worse

A lot of us can have that problem angel. It's all part of the illnesses we have. It's especially hard to motivate yourself when you're feeling very low. Grab a piece of paper hun and write down this list...
    - shower or bath
    - get dressed
    - breakfast
    - lunch
    - dinner
Now every day, try and do your best to do these very basic things. By ticking off these things when you've done them, you'll be looking after your health. Your mood will probably lift a bit too. Also hun, try and go outside for at least a few minutes every day. It can really help to distract us and give us a break from the worrying. Don't make any big lists, ok hun?

no been trying to phone M.I.N,D all day either busy or saying cant take calls, left messages but not got answered. C.A.B say they will phone back with an appointment but they are very busy and short staffed. Im just cracking up waiting for bailiffs to knock
Above all else john, please try not to get upset and panic ok? I know it's hard sweetie. As I said, all you have to do is keep the door locked and all your windows shut and they can't come in. If you open the door to them, that gives them the right to enter. I know we see these awful documentaries on TV about bailiffs but there are rules they have to follow hun.

feeling a bit down today doctor changed my anti=depressants last week and he said it will take about 4 weeks for them to kick in. Have left messages and e-mailed M.I.N.D still no answer been trying to phone them for over a week:confused:
There will have been a store of that medication in your system hun, so don't worry yet ok? If you're struggling, please see your dr, john.
I looked up some links for you hun that may help. I didn't know what area of Liverpool you're in so couldn't narrow it down.

If no-one is answering your calls or replying back to you, I think the most important thing to do first thing tomorrow hun, would be to go down to Social Services Adult Team and ask to see the emergency duty social worker. Let them make all the phone calls. Time for people to stop passing the buck!
Keep us posted hun - take care. hug.gif

    Hi Tiff

Just wanted to say thanks for this post, I know it wasn't directed at me but what you said is so useful, I have no routine in my life except mope around on my own all day, occassionally go out with my OH, I've had two pieces of toast to eat today because I just can't be bothered to make anything  I'm going to write this list down myself tomorrow and try and do this.

    Thanks again :D

    Hi all

Not much to say really had a strange day today. Glad its all over now, no work for a couple of weeks now.

I had to pose for publicity photos at work today and I looked terrible, so I'm not looking forward to seeing them when I get back. I think its only an internal thing though, so at least the public don't have to witness it. :o I did get a "prize" for doing it though, pity its not particularly useful or desirable. A presentation pack for the xmas stamps-oh joy...

Tonights been hard I've been tormenting myself with unhappy thoughts. I wish I could think more positively sometimes its bad when you have so much to look forward to yet still feel like rubbish.
Tomorrow will be better, one day closer to seeing OH again :j Driving to Lichfield tomorrow, staying the night then on Thursday watching his pass out parade and bringing him home. I should be more excited I feel guilty that I'm not.

Hope everyone has had an ok day
    Xx
