    Hi happy!:hello:
How are you hun? It's been a while hasn't it?
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi!;)

    quote=happysinglemum
    Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while, but I've been lurking & making sure everyone's ok.
That's lovely of you hun. Don't be such a stranger ok?;)

I've been feeling lots better lately, and felt a little guilty about posting here when I'm so 'up'. But then I realised how much it lifts me when I see that someone on here is having a good day.
Exactly!;) It's nice when we hear of things going well for others angel - gives us hope that it'll be our turn soon.:T
Don't feel bad about feeling better sweetie - I'm really pleased for you.:A

I still haven't conquered the 'booze thing', but I'm taking my counsellor's advice & trying to have just a couple of evenings a week without drinking. I managed to get through last night without a drink :j - I was so busy catching up with housework that I didn't even notice til about 10pm). :D Then I just told myself it was too late to open a can of cider, as I wouldn't finish it before bed, and it'd be a waste! :o I was going to try and go without tonight again, but I automatically had a drink with tea. I'm not going to get upset about it though. Just try another night instead./quote
Don't beat yourself up over it angel. It sounds like you're doing really well and besides, you're entitled to the odd blip happy.;) It doesn't mean that you've fallen totally off the wagon! It can't be easy and I think your attitude is great hun. You should feel proud of yourself for how you're coping!:T :j
Good luck hun - and let us know how you get on ok?hug.gif

I am fine thanks RBK. Got an interview with a recruitment agency tomorrow. You know how bad I was a few months ago, well, I am nowhere near that anymore but I have my ups and downs. I still run everyday which helps and am thinking of doing a 5k run  I emphasise THINKING of doing one.

    Hope you are well.

    Hi karrie!
    Glad you're so well hun.:T
Good luck with your job interview tomorow karrie.:A ;)
Again, how nice to hear that the darkness does lift.:j Depression isn't about being down all the time - there are times when things are better.

Thinking of doing a 5k run? _pale_ faint.gif
    I could do a 5k nap, if that's any good?! :D
I blame sazzy for this - she's given you the running bug now!
Don't do it hun!!!:D You'll only wear your legs down.:rotfl:
Stay in touch hun - whether you're down or up, it doesn't matter.;)

    Hi hun!
I see what you mean angel.

Maybe you should be looking at taking a different tack with this hun? If they're being nasty and are accusing you of things that aren't true, to the point where you feel you can't go back there, you may be able to look at claiming unfair dismissal.;) Did you have any chance to reply to the report hun?

I didn't know you were having problems with them angel or anything about a report. It doesn't matter imho, how you came across the report - hang on to it hun and send/give a copy to CAB. I'm not a professional flis, but they are.;)

I bet you're feeling the stress after all you've been through recently sweetie. Please look after yourself and baby first.

It may also be worth seeing your gp and telling them about the work situation and how much it's upsetting you with whatever they've said in the report. This can obviously affect your health and it may help your cause to have made your dr aware of it all. Hope this helps a little angel.hug.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

As I said according to the CAB website I can't claim unfair dismissal as I haven't been there a year. (Which seems totally unfair). Haven't had a chance to reply to the report, as they do not know that I have got it. Have written a 5 page response to it last night tho and am going to keep it in my handbag, so whenever they do decide to start this I can respond immediately, along with copies of my phone records which back up my side of the story.

Have written to my doctor and told him what is happening, and asked how I go about getting copies of my medical records, so that I can back up all the absences were genuine. I know that this isn't helping my depression, but I can't go taking any time off for that, or they will definitely sack me!

Am doing my best to look after the baby, but it is not easy!!

Thanks for chatting Tiff, it does help to talk to someone about it all.

    Hi flis!;)
It's always important to document, document, document hun!:T They are good ideas you've had hun
    .
Before you go asking for your medical records, go and see your gp and ask him for a medical note. This will explain the reasons and the time period covered and might be quicker than getting your records. You might not need a copy of the records then.;)

If you want to see your medical records, you can view them, supervised, and make notes from them, or you can ask for a copy of them. You can't change anything on there without a procedure to get a review, fyi.
Either way, you have to make a written request for whichever option you want angel and hand it in to the surgery. There may be a fee - it can range anywhere from £10 to £50(?) I think. But they'll inform you of that.
I think it's a good idea to pre-empt all this with a personal visit to your gp.;)

We've been through a lot karrie haven't we? It's always good to talk hun. Thank you for your kind words angel - you're welcome. I'll let you know if I have any more thoughts.hug.gif

    Hi karrie!hug.gif
Just want to say hi karrie - keep missing you.
I hope all is well with you and DS angel. Have things calmed down a bit? Is he excited about the new school in September? You should feel really proud hun.

As usual, I'm playing catch up with replies - it's back off to page 3 for me.sigh2.gif;)

Anyway, just wanted you to know I was thinking of you hun.hug.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    Hi Tiff

All is fine with me and DS thank you for asking. Things have calmed down a great deal. No more bullying from the local boys since I spoke to parents and he is so looking forward to going to new school. He had a couple of days there last week and loved it.

It was a dark time a few months ago and I am so glad that you were all on this thread to help me through it.

    You take care x

Just been reading your posts. It's a difficult time for you so please try to stay calm. Easier said than done I know. As Tiff said, put yourself and the baby first. ;)
