    * A door swings creakily back and forth *

Blimey, it's so quiet in here I am getting scared.

    Hi folkes,

    Well......
I think I got done for speeding today.
The interview was a waffle-fest and i was very disheartened.
But heard tonight that I made the shortlist! How bad must the others have been.
Their only concern is the short-term learning curve. But they knew that before they met me.

    From my point of view.
Long yakky drive there and back each day.
Low pay (but all jobs I'm going to get are).
Not really the area of work I thought I'd be in - but a good grounding in subject.
Slight moral qualms about mouse research.

Being offered this job could actually be the hardest option.
Would you turn down a job after 8 months on the dole?

    Hmmmm

Hope you are all still alive and your fingers regain the ability to type soon.
    xxxxxxx

It's so quiet in here (get that door oiled someone) I am gonna have a moan. Sorry.

I gave up smoking on 17th June. I took up running. Now I have gone on a run EVERYDAY even though my training guide says I should rest every other day. Today, I just feel like going and buying some fags:eek: I love my running and am doing over 2 miles (walking and running) every day BUT I can feel that I have put ON weight. I am really upset and keep asking myself why am I doing this? The only thing that's keep me from getting in the car and popping off to the shop is that I have wet hair from my shower.

Moan over - thanks for listening.

Normal service will resume shortly.

    2 miles every day?
You must be somewhere near Manchester by now!!

You are doing this because cancer is no way to die in front of the people you love. And you should try to stay alive to see them grow with all your might.
Unfortunately I have first hand experience of this.

    Good luck girlie xxx

Feels like I am near Scotland!! My legs don't arf ache :D

yes you are right, I am doing this because of the cancer risk and because I don't want to miss my son growing up.

I am doing it for the right reason but right now I'd kill to have a fag and lose a few pounds.

Well done on get short listed :T Bad luck for the speeding thing.

Would i accept a job after 8 months on dole? Yes I would. But then we are all different and being at home every day would drive me up the wall.

How far away is it? I do a 34 mile round trip everyday and I hate it. It's not that far I know, but I hate sitting in traffic. I am due to be made redundant and I am definitely getting a job closer to home next time round.

Is it an animal research lab?
