I know. I was cursing to myself rather loudly when I noticed my neighbours windows were open! :o
    Didn't make my bread afterall.
After work we went to fiance's sisters for tea and then I needed to make something for tomorrows buffet at work so I made a big dish of pasta and some hob nobs. Only just finished and I think I deserve a sit down!!

I am glad that you are feeling well.
I like to spent time with Andys sister because she brings me up often - if that makes sense? She is like the big sister I never had.
I havent been feeling too emotional for a while - possibly because we have had so much going on because today was a charity day at work so between calls I have been playing in the bottle tombola and checking raffle tickets - oh and chompin on choc cake! :D

And obviously I have been out for tea tonight and we are all going out for tea tomorrow too. And then I know that Friday is my last day at work and then I am on holiday!! Woo!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Your club sounds fun! I don't think we have anything like that around here, but then again I wouldn't like to leave Kiki as I don't get to spend too much time with her anyway.

Anyway I'm off for a cup of tea (and a neck rub if I can wangle it!)

happysinglemum, :hello: I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. It's good to see a post from you. It sounds like you're doing well with the drinking. You appear to have much more control over it now which is great :T WELL DONE! Just take small steps and you will get there in the end.

    Look after yourself.

    (((HUGS)))

flis21, I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems at work. Did you manage to call the CAB today? If so, what did they say, was it helpful? Are they acting like this because you were off sick? If so, that's very mean and unfair of them. Sending (((HUGS))) your way.

Karrie, GOOD LUCK tomorrow hun. I hope the interview goes well. It's really good to hear that you are feeling better. Wow a 5k run  are you mad??? :rotfl: I'm jk hun :p seriously though that would be a great thing to do.

Tulip, I'm glad to hear that the presentation went well and that you got your certificate :)WELL DONE :T

    I hope you've had a good day.

Gillette, tsk tsk for speeding! WELL DONE on getting short listed :T that's great! What was the job you applied for?

Perhaps write down all the pros and cons about the job and see what you think then.

Karrie, You've done so well. Don't be tempted to start smoking again. Smoking is horrible and can cause so many health problems. It also makes your hair and clothes smell, stains your teeth, ruins your skin etc so I'm guessing some of those are the reasons as to why you quit in the first place. Don't beat yourself up about putting on a few pounds. You'll probably lose it soon what with all the running you are doing.

slowlyfading, Try to keep calm (easier said than done, I know). I'm sure it will be fine. Whatever the results you did your best and no-one can ask more than that. (((HUGS)))

Well done on get short listed :T Bad luck for the speeding thing.

Would i accept a job after 8 months on dole? Yes I would. But then we are all different and being at home every day would drive me up the wall.

How far away is it? I do a 34 mile round trip everyday and I hate it. It's not that far I know, but I hate sitting in traffic. I am due to be made redundant and I am definitely getting a job closer to home next time round.

Is it an animal research lab?

How about 40+ miles EACH WAY!!!
    And it's MRC in didcot.
Genomme, mammalian research etc....Animal lab/radiation....and maybe a bit of pensioner bashing as well.
