    Hi

Does anyone get a whole week, just a week of needing to do as little as possible?

I was really tired after my holiday, understandably so with time changes and travel, then I got energetic and did loads, then last week, could barely function. Beginning to get my energy back.

The trees look lovely with all their colours

    Happy Halloween!!

Hi everyone, hope everybody is feeling okay today :)

I've had such a bad week and it's just got worse :( I was supposed to be back in work Monday and I just couldn't face it, I was in such a state and I don't even know why I don't want to go to work, I love that job. My manager wasn't in until today and she's just rung me to say because I haven't clicked my fingers and gotten better to their time scale (My words obviously ) I have to have a formal meeting with HR next week. I asked her if they were going to fire me and she just said I wont lie, it is very formal. How can they fire me for being ill? I can't help it. What do they expect me to do, make myself magically better? I'm so scared, I'm going to end up with no job, no money, i'll have to move back in with my OH's family which I don't want to do and to make things even worse my OH found out yesterday that he might be getting fired in two weeks.

I just wonder whats the point sometimes, why bother when all you get is **** thrown at you. I went to see a counsellor yesterday and she was really nice and reassuring but i'm not seeing her again til next Thursday. I just feel like I can't cope anymore, everything is going wrong and I feel like it's all my fault.

    Sorry for going on :(

Hi Hayley, never apolagise for posting that is what this forum is for.If you have a sick note it is against the law to fire you,if you did not have one because you were going to go back to work go see the doctor asp and explain to him ,i think it is possible to get a sick note backdated to cover you.

Hi Guys, thanks for your replies.

I rang Acas to check and they can in fact sack me, if they feel I have had too much time off. I have worked there less than a year and unless I am registered disabled because of the depression then there is nothing to stop them sacking me. I'm just hoping it doesn't come to that. I really do love that job and I was really good at it and it took me 3 months to get it, I don't want to have to start looking for another one, not when I'm feeling so bad as it is I know that work have a procedure to follow but this isn't helping at all, it's just something else I have to worry about.

I'm not seeing my Doctor til Friday but I'll see what he says. See if he can prescribe something mild to calm me down a bit so I can actually get to work.

Thanks for your support guys, always appreciated x

    :hello: Everyone,

Had a nice time at my craft course today :) I borrowed the ghost again from the shop I went to before and as a thankyou I gave the lady some cakes to eat as they were ones from the Halloween Party we had at the course today :) On the way home popped into co-op and brought a tub of Halloween goodies for £2,tub was orginally £3.99 in case I get trick or treaters call but I very much doubt I will be disturbed, otherwise I will eat the chocolates gradually myself and enjoy them when I want one,Got to divide them into bags and eat a few at at time as I havent any willpower when it comes to eating chocolate :)

Hannah sorry to hear you have got work troubles at the moment, hope things get easier for you soon :)

    love and light,
