Its soo hard when one person telling you not to do this and not to do that. Just tears you apart and gets you questioning yourself
Do you have any support or someone you can talk to? i have friends but they dont understand depression, but they are supportive, just see me as a live wire as it were
Have to admit ive started drinking again, it seems to help alittle, dont go binge drinking, least i havent for a while, do you drink all the time or on weekends or just when you feel down?
take care hun x
I could probably write a book on my attempts to find a counsellor, but hopefully I'm getting somewhere now
And I'd help with your maths question, but you have some info missing.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I drink when I feel down. Usually I have a bottle of wine all to myself, so I suppose it is binge drinking really.

Hello i went to sooo many counsellors when i drank.i remember how soul destroying it was every time i went to a new person and just knowing from the feeling i got that they were not the right person..... i hope your get on with what ever it is your doing now. if for whatever reason it don't maybe you could try AA like i did. i wish u well:)If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -
Thanks Rose.
I hope you are well.
I am just recovering from the most god awful flu!
Anyway I do Pigsback for my Mam - she doesn't have internet and yesterday she got £30 Boots vouchers so that was a lovely surprise for her she is over the moon! So I feel good again as she was so happy. She only has 1 more pay before Christmas and I know she is panicking that she doesn't have all her gifts bought so hopefully that will help her out a bit.
She is going to Town today with my Aunt and they invited me along. I wasn't going to at first but decided I would in the end as I can help her out with ideas for my Fiance's gifts.
Besides it is soooo long since I spent the day with Mam and we used to go for days out at least once a month or so when we had a day off together.
And I do have a couple of things I need to do too.
I just hope I don't lose my mood half way through the day as I just can't control my moods and I think that is part of the reason why I am trying to hold back from spending time with people as I feel I have no control over myself.
Tulip - Am I right in thinking you won a £50 Faith voucher?? If so well done!!I won one too and am putting it in my SIL (to be) Christmas gift, as well as a Dove giftset I won!
I have also won a football book for her boyfriend!
Now that's a bit of luck isn't it? That's almost £80 worth of gifts that have cost me nothing!!!
Welcome to all the new people we have joining in - I hope you can find peace, love and support here x
And to all the golden oldiesI'm thinking of you all and hope that Thursday turns out to be a good day for you all x
Anyway wish me luck for my day out! xDream of being mortgage free....

I know I should stop, I just can't. I want something to be "less bad" than the rest
Thats what it is with me. I feel like I 'need' something to cope, and I'm just trying to do the one that is least bad. If I drink, it'll lead to eating. If I eat, it'll lead to drinking. With SH, its easier to hide and doesn't have a triggering affect on my other addictions.
Lewt mentioned AA, and I can second that - best thing that ever happened to me.
I've got support for my drinking and eating. I've got people I can call before I have a drink. I've got no one to call before I cut though.
I asked about the crisis team, but was told they were just for suicidal people. Don't want to bother them, so I'm on my own :rolleyes:Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
hi all,
rose....re the maths question, no wonder i never went to uni....
katie...really glad you enjoyed jericho....i know what you mean about it not being on long enough.think im going to get the dvds when they come out.very good for an american series.
fg....hope you are are abit brighter today.x
bmf...dont know about the dales bit.do love to walk though.atm, i wish i lived by the sea so i could do a reggie perrin, although the sight of me as a nudist would keep you awake alnite, with nightmares, believe me.
debt probs getting me down abit lately.am on a dmp atm but credit rating is carp, which is hard for me but can cope cos its my fault.but its starting to affect dhs credit.was relying on a top up loan hes had for yonks, but didnt get it cos of my credit, so felt really bad.was very philosophical about it, which made me feel worse cos he was so understanding.made me want to exit to a small country where noone knows me and anti depressant tablets are the most valuable currency.mind you, dont know what id do without the prozac lately, they are the only thing keeping me sane.
anyway, ill not go down the self pity road anymore cos i know the more i dwell ,the worse i will be.
take care all,
love ilgd xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with
