geminilady wrote: »Hi Kellie,Sorry your bf is not supportive it is hard for some people who have never had depression or been through abuse to understand how you feel but you will find lots of people on here who do understand some who have been through a similar thing.I know some people hide it inside as you say you do, but personaly i do not think it is good to bottle things up which may be why you are feeling so bad.Have you thought of asking your gp to refer you for councelling?it may be easier to confide in a stranger and they are trained in getting people to open up about their problems.Anything you do tell them is completly confidential.
i had couciling a while ago but it never helped but i was very young then, to b honesnt i am a very scared peron i am scared of everything i make sure i lock my doors at night and i check them at least 3 times, im scared gettin in to taxis and buses or even takin my dog for a walk scares me i constanly feel as if someone is going to hurt me, even tho i know there is no1 ther i still believe there is.

Just a quick post.
Hope everyone is as well as can be today.
I bought 5 copies of Britney today, to go with the 2 I bought online last night.
The miserable bloke at HMV said there wasn't a CD2 and was really unhelpful. I think he thought I was going to slap him about :rotfl: Anyway, as I thought, there is another CD (CD2) due out in 2 weeks with the album out next week, so I have pre-ordered both onlineSod my local HMV, miserable !!!!!!s
Tiff - will reply to your long post later - I need to do some workout (maybe some of it focused on my fingers to reply to the monster post :rotfl:) and then some Xmas shopping
Hope everyone is getting their Xmas shopping in order! 2 months Thursday
Sending out positive Miro vibes (The more you think of Britney, the more positive they are:rotfl: )

I'm sorry that a few people are finding things difficult at the moment. Wish I had a magic cure that could help, but I'm still hunting for that!
In two days its been 11 months sober. I tend to get a bit wobbly around anniversaries, and its a bit scary to be coming up to a year. One hell of a year too, so much has changed.
I enjoyed my day out with my new friend yesterday. I'm amazed that there are people who really understand me and don't judge. There are people who really care. There seems to be a lot of negative stuff about AA around the web and stuff, and I really don't see how anyone could see in anything but and incredibly positive light. I talked a bit yesterday, which helped. There are some things I just don't talk about - mainly because they are my fault. I think its important to talk about these things, and I'm glad I've found a friend who understands.

I do not know how old you are now but maybe councelling would help now you are older.I suppose it all depends on getting someone you feel comfortable with.I would guess the being scared all the time is down to the abuse you suffered you are terrified something bad is going to happen again,it must make life a lot harder for you .0 -
Hi everyone
Thanks to those who replied to my post yesterday, it's good to know i'm not as alone as I feel sometimes. I'm afraid i'm not very good at giving advice but I hope everyone feels a bit better soon
I'm trying to be positive today but it's really hard to drum up some motivation, I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep all day. I have to go to the post office today and my OH is at work until 8 so I have to go on my own. It's about a 15 min walk away but i'm determined to do it. I'll post back later and let you know how I got on.
Big hugs to everybody

:hello: Everyone,
well today was one very busy dayI started off by doing my left over ironing, then cleaned my kitchen and bathroom floors,I then had lunch of Plaice,Jacket potatoe and mushrooms and a satuma
I sorted out all the coppers I had in my piggybank and I had loads of them,so I could take to Asda to convert into a reciept to shop with
I went for a bus ride to my nearest Asda and the first thing I did was get rid of the coinsI ammased £5.06, so there I was happily looking around shopping like crazy,Got some Halloween Cakes for college as we are having a party a week tomorrow on Halloween itself
I then got myself some christmas wrapping paper 16p for 2 m
some clear sellotape x2
and some christmas cards
I also got milk as well that I needed
I got the bus home, then went to co-op as I had forgotten to get some Activia yoghurt 8 pack free of charge,I had to get 2 packs of 4 as there wasnt any 8 packs
I tried to use 2 coupons but it didnt work but I was lucky to get one donethen I went home with it all, then cut out a 40p off coupon for Love it magazine and got that at 25p, so had a good bargain day all in all
