I know it's not an easy option by any means. You're keeping yourself busy & getting some fresh air, both of which are good coping techniques. You sound a lot better than I've heard for a while, so you're doing something right. I know the lows come along to us all hun but snatch those better days and treasure them.;)

Counselling isn't going anywhere really, hopefully it will improve I'm not sure I am much better, i'm just fighting everyone harder Some days I feel like fighting, others I feel like curling up and hoping the world will swallow me up. I just wished someone cared enough and made me happy.

I was actually up at 4.30.m. and have been trying to get a couple of posts up on here since 5.15a.m. !

I had to go to a company team day yesterday......NOT my cuppa. We had to keep being mixed up througout the day to "meet" each other. Lots of company propaganda and team activity-to make a short film.
I can see it all now...
If a team-building exercise goes wrong, people will just hate their colleagues more. I mean, how tempting would it be to let that big-mouth troublemaker fall into the mud pool?!:j

I managed to bagsy a behind camera role....I wrote some of it. Which the actors promptly ignored. I will share it with you all if they give it me.

However, I won the funny caption competition (bottle of chablis) and the countdown type team game (ferero roche). So not a bad haul......and I did get paid for the day. I got through it and I survived.
So in the end, the badger prevails - good results all round then.:T I hope you enjoyed your treats hun.

I'm having pizza which I will be dipping into houmous during the footy.....can't wait, but will.

I'm off to the library in a bit - have got a dissertation meeting with some of the people in my group. Not quite sure how that'll go, but never mind. Then I'm having sunday dinner with all my housemates, so that'll be nice.
Feeling quite down tday - weekends are a bit strange at uni - and am feeling really huge this morning oh well, just another day to get through.

Well, last day before my week off.... boy am I looking forward to it!

I'm looking for a swift kick up the wazoo actually, if someone would oblige..... just had a shock while talking to my Mum. I won't see her now, since she is going to Fort William on the same day we're going to Lewis, and coming back the same day as we're coming home, and she has a lodger for the attic which I always considered my 'bolthole' incase anything happened here.......I realised that I won't have anywhere to go up there and it really upset me for a minute, til I realised how selfish and childish I was being. So if anyone is around, please could you give me a swift kick (or a slap I don't mind) and tell me to grow up? thanks :eek:

Anyway, so how is everyone else?

Aye-yo! Hope I'm not being a pain, but I've had a pretty good day today....A 'got up & just got on with things' day....but now I wish I had more of them:o

The offspring were all home, so we had the first proper Sunday roast for quite a few weeks & it was rather scrummie, even if I say so meself:D

I still consider the 'back bedroom' to be mine, even tho I haven't lived with my folks for almost 30yrs:rotfl: Whenever me muvva has guests & they sleep in there, I tell her that I'll just bunk in with her!

Me knees are beginning to return to the forecast, but I'll give them another week before posting any predictions;)
