    Hi guys!:hello:
    How is everyone feeling today?
It's been a tough week for many of us I know.

But guys, there's always hope on the horizon - and you know what that means...

    :hello: Everyone,

Morning! just a quick post before I go off to my Pottery Class for 10am :) I woke up at 7.50am as the phone rang and it was my Dad checking I was up but I didnt answer it the first time as I was just coming round from my sleep but I rang back when I was ready :)

Feeling quite nervous about the course this morning and had a few tears but feel better now as I am more awake :)

Have a nice day everyone and I will chat again this afternoon when I get back,I am having lunch out today after the course and then doing my usual food shop, got the shopping list ready last night so I am organised as I am one of these people who hates leaving anything to the very last minute and I rush like mad :)

    Hi Tulip_Yellow.jpg!:hello:
I just wanted to say well done angel on making it to the pottery class, even though you were worried and anxious about it!:T :A

You had a good cry and got rid of some of the stress. ;)
When I'm really anxious about something, it helps me if I look past whatever it is and think of the time a couple of hours after whenever it is. It kind of helps me to think that what I'm dreading will come and go by thinking about the other parts of the day and it takes away some of the build up to the event.

And then I go and hide under the table!:D

Keep up the good work katie!hug.gif

    Hi miro!:hello:
    How are you today hun?

Hi Tiff! You wanna go for a ride? ...
Miro! shy.gif eek.giffaint.gif I'm not that kind of Tiff! :D;)
Although there was that time way back in 1997 when I...:D

...(Sure Miro!) I'm a barbie girl.....;)
 - oooookay guys - I'll keep him talking and you call the ambulance!:D ;)
What do you mean, 'Is the ambulance for me?'! :rotfl:

I'm a little down today. Alot of walking & counselling and then watched and taped a Britney program about the last 12 months, which just confirmed she's not at all well. She's the kinda girl I usually try and help - I guess i'm attracted to helping :o
    Sorry you're a bit down hun.:o
I'm really proud of you for doing the counselling!:T
I know it's not an easy option by any means. You're keeping yourself busy & getting some fresh air, both of which are good coping techniques. You sound a lot better than I've heard for a while, so you're doing something right. I know the lows come along to us all hun but snatch those better days and treasure them.;)

    How are you Tiff?
There you go asking personal questions again!!!drama.gif:D
I'm hanging in there hun, thank you.;)

    Not the vets     And what do you mean even Britney related

 Mental ill health can come in many forms, angel. :D;)

    I wondered why she insisted I have the red ones  :o

jaw2.gif - You haven't taken out life insurance with her as the beneficiary, have you miro? _pale_ panic.gif
You may be all right with the red ones miro hun, but just so you know ...

    :rotfl:

    I won't be a stranger but I will get stranger ;):o

I don't think you could possibly get any stanger than me angel!insane.gif;)
Have a good weekend hun and keep up the good work sweetheart.:T Thinking of you and wishing you well.hug.gif

Morning.....hope we're all managing the cooler, damp mornings....

Welcome BLTN....oooh you could be a Bacon Lettuce Tomato Nicey!!!
The doc should have told you that ADs usually take about six weeks to show any effect, so it could be worth sticking with it for a while longer. As for work, if they are calling you whilst you have a valid doctor's medical certificate, they are actually guilty of harrassment & you could threaten to sue them for constructive dismissal if they continue. May be worth a visit to CAB  to see if they could get them off your back for now....

SF, you have said to others that one slip does not constitute a failure....take a look in the mirror & tell the person you see there, how much they are a valued member of this thread & as such should cut themselves a bit of slack.

Well Done Tulip!:j :j Are you going to make a special present for your folks? How lovely that would be, to have something so personal & unique!

This keyboard is driving me potty, so I'm gunna read for now.

Hope today is an OK Day.

    Hi folkes,
Just a quick hello on this very busy sporting day. Too busy to do any housework.....england need me.

I am really tired and have a cold of sorts - sniffy and really sore throat. SOMEONE on here told me to gargle with TCP. I just did it and I suspect they only told me for a laugh. Gawd it's horrible......
I gargled with honey/lime and some warm water straight after which was far nicer. But the TCP taste has won out....yuk!

I had to go to a company team day yesterday......NOT my cuppa. We had to keep being mixed up througout the day to "meet" each other. Lots of company propaganda and team activity-to make a short film.
I managed to bagsy a behind camera role....I wrote some of it. Which the actors promptly ignored. And half of my group just wanted to dress up as nuns (men). I will share it with you all if they give it me.
However, I won the funny caption competition (bottle of chablis) and the countdown type team game (ferero roche). So not a bad haul......and I did get paid for the day. I got through it and I survived.

I'm having pizza which I will be dipping into houmous during the footy.....can't wait, but will.

Hugs and handshakes to you all.

    Yuk

I saw a poster ad for TCP on the Holloway Road in London a few years ago, it said 'TCP :- Tastes as foul as it always has'

I thought it was great! (the ad not TCP)
