thank you for the new thread babafette, im in again this month

going to try and sort a list out this month and see what i have actually got.
ive also got to do my pp list for the month.

i have managed to use a couple of things up already, the packaging is upstairs with a couple of things that have about one use left in them so ill finish off whats in those tonight and do lists tomorrow.

Was very tempted to buy a couple of HE shampoos in Mr M's yesterday as I only have one in the stash but was put off by the fact they were a bit sticky and also because we have just had a B&M shop open up near us and I'm finding it very exciting going in there and seeing how cheap it is in there so may decide to get shampoo in there when we're on the last bottle.

Hi Sophie and welcome to the thread. To be fair I don't think I have found a nail polish brand that doesn't chip on my nails (but then I type all day at work which chips the colour and I still wash the pots at home the old fashioned way!). I am however not a huge fan of Nails Inc (the Mink colour I mention above was a magazine freebie - I only ever pick these up). I find that their polishes do chip quicker than most though. I have used their base and top coats (Caviar) before and find them to be good products but still the colour never lasted that long.

Just remembered that I had another OUT yesterday - a TA:-

The French Connection Barbie Pink nail colour that I got for my birthday. Have been decluttering like mad this weekend. It started yesterday with me putting together a big bag of books for the charity shop. They were mostly Classics and considering these are free on the Kindle couldn't see the point in me keeping them. The bottle of nail colour went with these to the CS.

Today, I have spent ages making a list on Music Magpie of CDs and DVDs. Also sending some off to We Buy Books.com. Just have to get a huge box to put them in now so I can call the courier. Still have some CDs left but I don't think they'll accept them as the packaging is either incomplete (no cardboard sleeves) or broken.

Feel quite virtuous now.

Getting the month off to a good start - 3 UU.

1. Avon Naturals Black Cherry and Nutmeg Body Lotion 200ml
WIBA? Yes, but probably not this year. I'm in hiding from the Avon Reps.
It's a lovely lotion - nicer than the matching shower gel, imo. Rubbed in beautifully, no pilling or stickiness and a lovely waft of scent still at the end of the day when I got undressed.

2. Avon FootWorks Beautiful XXL Glycerine and Cocoa Butter Foot Cream.
WIBA? Don't think so. It rubbed in fine when I used it solely but I tried the A!di Lacura Hydro Urea one one morning and this one evening and it really didn't rub in at all well. The A!di one was too good, basically. The RRP of most FootWorks products is horrendous for what they are, only worth getting on special offer. Now on to my lovely Hydro Urea.

3. Redken Colour Extend Radiant 10 Treatment Spray - a leave in conditioner to protect coloured hair. 30ml
WIB? Don't think so, as it is rather pricey for me at an RRP of £9.00 for 30ml. Not even sure that it worked that well, tbh.
This was a freebie that must be a year or two old by now. I did wash out the empty spray bottle and pop it in a drawer as it will be brilliant for holidays.

I may just be the worst 'no-more-unnecessary-er' out there. Went shopping with OH and kids in Glasgow as had a day off work and may have let him buy me AND the kids goodies in Lush. He was going to buy me coco Chanel Mademoiselle but I said no! I hadn't tried it before today and I love it but I have at least 6 perfumes on the go if not more:

My list feels quite inferior now I've done it!! I am pretending that perfume and cosmetics don't exist As you can see, I am absolutely terrible for starting products and then deciding I don't like them. Everytime I see my bestie I palm stuff off on her. I've got rid of six moisturisers in the last four months and might have been very naughty and thrown some stuff in the bin…..My excuse is that it didn't suit my skin, which makes it OK, right :cool:
