    Welcome 166 million

Hope you had a fantastic holiday Rosemary.

KT2802 - sorry as I have a very elderly nokia I didnt pay attention to the app name but will ask on the group.
    No more buying toiletries
  • My last UU's of March

Flower by Cynthia Rowley, bought from Avon about 2 years ago, smell was too strong so WNBA

Advance Techniques straight and sleek shampoo, more in my stash

Skin so soft age defying hand cream - WNBA, didn't give me any better results than my others

John Frieda - Full repair shampoo + conditioner, nice and left my hair soft but i have so many others to use up

Get Fruity Lemon body butter, a Xmas use up, smelt gorgeous but i don't think wilko's sell this all year round

No7 - age defence cleansing balm, this was amazing! it cleanered by years old bad skin in a matter of days, it wasn't great at removing make up but as a basic cleanser it left my skin soft, hydrated and i'd definitely buy it again

    Perfume samples

cacharel - amor amo, nice enough but i wouldn't go out of my way to buy
armarni code - mens, delicious, i'd look at buying this for my OH for Xmas :)
Flash - jimmy choo, this was awful for the first hour i wore it, it got better as the day went on and at night i loved it so WMBA
Calvin Klein - Beauty, nice enough but i have another 5 samples of this
Bvlgari - Omnia - I love, love, love this, if anyone has any please let me have it, it's now on my top 5 list <3

Apologies Val if I came across as rude. I didn't mean to, I was actually taking the pee out of QVC because they kept banging on about it.
    Sorry xx

It's ok, I thought you were having a pop at QVC. Everything that they sell is hyped as PHEN-O-MENAL and AMAYZING. The best statement was when they said Bare Minerals was so pure you could sleep in it!! And you should try tallying up how many products the presenters claim to actually use themselves. It's a wonder they ever leave the house.

VALM - when I started buying Clinique take the day off about 2 years ago it was £14, can't believe it is £17 now.

A friend of mine said that the full sized bottle has lasted her about 2 years so I suppose ml for ml it is pretty good value (ooh, get me quoting QVC again - I think I have lost my way in life!):rotfl:

I have lifted this quote from QV* thread on STV in respect of the Tarte Cosmetics launch, it made me chuckle:D

Maracuja Oil = standard Passionfruit seed oil?
    Amazonian Clay = Kaolin?

"Wonder" ingredients are usually just a posh name for something similar that's widely available much cheaper.

Enough said, I think. Just shows that maddiemay and I are the enlightened ones :rotfl:
