Both teenage sons still in bed sound asleep, so I've no idea if they've even remembered Mother's Day yet!

Maddiemay, have you seen any results with the Revitalash yet? Can't say I have, but I suppose it is still early days.

I keep peering into the ordinary mirror and then the magnifying side:rotfl: My lashes are fair and fine they seem a little darker and not quite so fine, but as you say it is early days still.

I also came across this:- http://www.beautylish.com/a/vmyvn/diy-lash-conditioner, so will be trying Vit E oil (which I already have) on a saved mascara wand, but that would obviously take quite a while too, so perhaps I will leave it a while yet to see if the Revitalash works and then use it in conjunction with that?

I do know now thank you. Emma has enlightened me also. x

I have lifted this quote from QV* thread on STV in respect of the Tarte Cosmetics launch, it made me chuckle:D

Maracuja Oil = standard Passionfruit seed oil?
    Amazonian Clay = Kaolin?

"Wonder" ingredients are usually just a posh name for something similar that's widely available much cheaper.

UU - Weleda Wild Rose cleansing lotion, bought 2 years ago when Weleda had an offer of 5 items for £5, so WBA but not at it's 'proper' price!
I opened it at the same time as the toner which still has about 1/3 left in the bottle :o
Decided when I was waiting for the toner to finish I'd use up an Oil of Ulay (that shows you how old it is!!) cleansing milk, OMG it was awful, :( really smelled so it's now in the bin! :T

Also have another Neals Yard cream to declare from 'friend' with a spare O2 card :p

Have a couple of other items spluttering but they may hold off to April before finishing

I've had no problems with it at all, it is quite creamy but still liquidy enough to blend and it stays put even through exercise.

I have a tangle teaser for DD, she has waist length hair and we find it a bit naff tbh, it only gets through the top layer of hair and the teeth bend really easily.

VALM - when I started buying Clinique take the day off about 2 years ago it was £14, can't believe it is £17 now.
The michel mercier ones have much stiffer teeth I bought mine cos I have hairloss issues at the best of times so pulling lumps out of it due to tangles don't help.

    Indeed...! Thanks for finding that.

    I have a UU and a Mother's Day In from DD.:D
The IN is a Lacura Hydro Urea Hand Cream, great stuff, I don't use a lot of hand cream but I've had this before and it is good.

The UU is the Lacura Q10 Eye Cream for Mature Skin. This is the one in the 15ml tube.
Sadly, I think it's been withdrawn and the only Lacura eye cream now is the one double the price in the pump type bottle, which I also have to UU.

To all those who don't find today easy, thoughts. To all those who are Mums, hope it's been a good one.

    Last couple of UU's
Luxury pud bath ballistic WNBA I like twilight but this is way over coloured and the scent did not last

Close to you massage bar WNBA used as bath melts, only 3 more to go and they will probably be used as bath melt as I am not keen on the smell.

Pantene classic conditioner WNBA not my ideal conditioner and have had these a while, one more to go.

Hardy and baliss shower gel WDNBA so thick and gloopy but did not really foam so I have used this in the washing machine to get rid of it.

    Hi All,

I hope everyone is well and all the Mums are enjoying a lovely day being spoilt. I've quite a bit to declare as been scribbling the IN and UU down but haven't posted them so apologies for the size of the post.

IN from the last few weeks are:

Garnier Preference Conditioner 54ml x 3 - 3 for 2 in Boots so stocked up on hair colour, have gone a shade darker this time but can't really see much difference to my dark brown hair, was going a bit too red before as it faded

Baylis & Harding Ltd Edition Jojoba, Silk & Almond Oil Handwash 500ml - I'm not usually a fan of their products but my sister had this in her bathroom and its lovely - was a massive bargain at £2 from Morrisons, always loved their Molton Brown-esque packaging, looks lovely in my bathroom now, although its unopened yet until we finish the current Nivea one that randomly catches your fingers!

L'Oreal Elnett Heat Protection Spray - Volume 170ml - Bought to replace the straight hair version I accidentally left at my sisters, think I prefer this one but they're both good

Bontanics Shine Away Mattifying Day Cream 50ml - Without properly consulting the stash list I was fairly low on moisturiser and the Nip + Fab one I'd started using was fine until I tried to apply foundation and then it balled awfully so I think that'll have to be used at night. Started to use this one however and I had quite a bad reaction, especially around my nose, which I was surprised about as have used loads of Botanics stuff without a problem and I imagine them to be more natural but maybe that's just a trick of the branding? Anyway, wasn't expensive enough to bother returning it, think I'lll just repurpose as body cream.

The above led to Garnier Moisture Match 50ml, the gel one in the orange tube, used it before and quite like it, quite often on offer too and cheap to begin with.

Finally, Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Makeup Remover - Great stuff and really good value, replacing a UU - wanted to try the mincellar water I've seen everyone raving about but was OOS in Boots, got this from Tesco for £2 on offer

    UU are:

Nip + Fab Sugared Almond Shower Gel - Unlike the Winter Cherry version, this was very subtley fragranced, WBA

Garnier Preference Conditioner - WBA and have more in stash

Bomb Cosmetics Marigold Bath Creamer - WNBA - as before, underwhelmed with these this time around, added Radox to the bath too so not really sure what this did other than leave a few bits of marigold leaves stuck to the bath!

Lush Angels Delight Soap - Pink, sweet and glittery, what's not to love?!

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Makeup Remover - Already replaced

Boots Extracts Coconut Body Butter - WBA - Lovely fragrance and texture, sinks in really well

That leaves me evens on 14 UU/IN a piece with no more of either expected tonight or tomorrow. Could have been a whole lot worse but want to make April as close to a no spend as possible, its been an expensive month.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend - I know we've been robbed of an hour but isn't it lovely to have lighter nights? Love hearing about the forthcoming weddings - I have so much time for this thread as I get so much back xx
