Evening all! I've been reorganising my Nails Inc. collection (I only have 3 polishes from other brands), what do you think?

A few last minute UU's and a couple of TA/GA:

    UU:
Kerastase shampoo and conditioner sachets. The smell reminded me of cheap hotel all-in-one shower gel/shampoo type things. WNBA for this reason, I do like things to smell nice!

Lush Snow Fairy 100ml. WDBA, love this and currently have another one on the go, it smells gorgeous!

    GA:
Dr Lipp Nipple balm for lips. Gave to my dad to use for his cracked hands. He spends most of his day at work in a walk-in freezer so should be ok for him. I didn't like the texture.

    TA's:
Lancôme Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara. WNBA, didn't really like it to start off with but has been open for over 12 months now. It's hardly been used which is why I've been hanging onto it for so long I suppose!

Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume mascara. WNBA. I love the original High Impact, in fact it's my favourite mascara but the brush on this one is different so wasn't keen on it. Again, been hanging around for over 12 months :/

Espa Skin Radiance Mask mini. WNBA, only got one use from it and the remaining contents seem to have dried like cement inside the tube!

I have ordered stuff too but will declare it next month as they're not due to arrive until late next week.

In not that it's a toiletry but a michel mercier detangling brush. I have shortish hair but it tangles ridiculously easily. The hairdresser thinks I have static electricity lol. So I've wanted one or a tangle teaser for ages or one of these but the MM brush is £15 and the tangle teaser £12 which I think is too much so I've been looking out for a discounted one for ages. Anyway it was £6 so bargainous

I have a tangle teaser for DD, she has waist length hair and we find it a bit naff tbh, it only gets through the top layer of hair and the teeth bend really easily.

I have a tangle teaser that's a couple of years old, two in fact as I keep a lidded compact one in my swimming bag. At the time it was the only of its type around but I purchased a Michael Mercier one in TKMaxx for £7.99 and find it tonnes better!

My hair isn't thick but I have a lot of it and also found it didn't get through all my hair without applying more pressure even when turning it so the bristles faced the other way, whereas the MM one gets through no problem. I also think it helps that MM do ones for different hair types and is a handled brush, the TT kept flying out of my hand!

Thank heavens for Really Useful Boxes eh? :D :T

Oooooh, they look gorgeous, how many do you fit in a box?

My NP and treatments etc is housed in a Helmer, an OPI case (large and 2 levels) a Roo case, a large Really Useful box, a window cill and a L'Occitane bag:rotfl::rotfl:. I haven't mentioned it to OH yet, but I think I am going to buy another Helmer next week. (I need to be nice to to OH, as when I bought the last one I got in a mess sorting it out and had to get him to put it together LOL). BTW, 3 new Nails Inc despatched and in the post:D

I appreciate that many will find this excessive, but it is my "hobby" I don't drink, or smoke and now that I don't need to run a car I have more fun money. I know I don't need to justify this to you girls, or anyone really, but if there are any trolls about, save your energy:rotfl:

How many do you have in total hun?

These are 0.7L boxes so each one fits 12 standard Nails Inc. polishes in when stood up, in all, excluding topcoats, basecoats, strengtheners and the ones I am selling, I have 10 mini nails inc polishes, 2 full size non NI polishes and 72 Nails Inc. :D

  • Please let me know how you get on with the EL concealer, i'm purchasing the foundation soon and would like to get a concealer that's the same shade x

I tried this for the first time today and I expected to be more impressed.
Its quite thick and doesnt blend as well as some concealers Ive had. I think its too thick for the eye region although its marketed to use all over as it clings to any lines.
I have a couple of new spots and although it covered them I felt it actually made it look worse as they still showed through discoloured.
Given the price I expected better - will continue to use to see if I improve the application or how it fairs when my skin settles a little but initial impressions I would save your money and buy collection concealer which is a similar wand application, less thick and a fraction of the price.

Errrrrr, a lot:rotfl:, when I get the storage sorted out I will have a count up. At one time it was around 300 including minis, then I gave some away, and then I bought some more ........ I live in the countryside and don't get to shops much now to see polish IRL, it is difficult judging the colours on the pc and tv, so sometimes I end up with a few near misses before I find the perfect colour I am looking for, and then there are all the fabby finishes available too. The thing that used to drive me nuts when I first started was the difference between colour in bottle and on the nail, but today's polishes are much better pigmented on the whole, I usually trawl through reviews and anything over 2 coats is a no-no.

I dont think 1 more helmer will be enough MaddieMay -

I have similar nail polish storage problems and really need another helmer (or 2).

What colours of NI did you order?
