If you're a member of Supersavvyme, there's a free Oral B 3D toothpaste sample to the first 50,000.

    http://www.supersavvyme.co.uk

I can't do a direct link because it says I've already applied, but it's on the front page anyway.

    March PP list

    1. Pantene hair treatment
    2. Boots Slim and sculpt
    3. Philosophy Pure Grace body lotion
[strike]4. Radox shear butter and ginger shower cream[/strike]
    5. Ted Baker body lotion
    6. Ted Baker body spray
    7. Nivea Happy Time shower
    8. Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir perfume
    9. Alpha H balancing cleanser
    10. Leighton Denny hand cream

I think my UUs may slow down this month because last month I used a lot of skin care mini sizes and my skin did not thank me for the chopping and changing. :o

    One PP used up.
Tad embarrassed for listing this as a PP now but when I did there were a good few inches left in it. After hubby had his shower it was almost gone! I wish he'd use a shower net as you only need a little but no he used loads.

WDBA, lovely smell, reminded me of holidays, think it was the shear butter in it.

Whew, finally caught up! Hope everyone's well, and welcome to all the newbies!

I had a few non-bought INs for February through the post on Friday - the Manuka samples. I've updated my numbers for last month.

No UUs which count yet (just shave gel and deo which I don't list as not stashed) and not too optimistic for this month as I have lots of just-started full sizes on the go.

I should clarify, these are the gift sets I bought for me and was always going to keep for myself, I have other ones that will maybe be gifts and I haven't opened those :money:

I did think after I posted that this might have been what you'd meant. My problem is that I buy gift sets to give as presents and somehow they end up as presents for me - I'm very proud of myself for not getting anything in the Boots 70% off sale, partly because I still have so much from last year.

Thank you for your post pleasedelete.

    I have a uu

Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel - 250ml, WBA in a shot, really loved this, I used the last bit as bubble bath for the kids last night and it worked a treat for that too.

I am currently using a mini bottle of L'occitane Shea Shampoo and what a pain it is, it is pleasant enough to use but it is so thick that squeezing it from the very hard bottle is a two handed job, I normally squeeze into my hand and then apply to my hair so I am struggling with it. I couldn't be bothered this morning and used Philosophy Old Fashioned Egg Nogg to wash my hair, I have never used their products as shampoo before but it was really lovely and my hair feels nice.

2 ins (technically from last day in February but lets not split hairs :P)

    1) Tesco everyday value shower gel - was umming and arrring about this decision because they had Original source on offer for £1 (my fave), but this one is 30p so I decided to give it a go and stop being such a brand snob. Its amazing that I buy smart price foods for basically everything I eat yet I don't think to go basic with toiletries.

    2) Sort of related to the first purchase- tesco's body puff with the little sucker thing! Those on February's thread will remember the discussion on these :P Foaming up the cheapy shower gel nicely and also lovely that the puff is always where I left it in the shower rather than rolling around on the floor!
I am well pleased with my Tesco puff!

i thought that I would write about my experience. I read this thread to keep me on track and to stop me returning to the dark old days.

In December 2012 we had 3 new bathrooms fitted. Lovely- but as the cupboards were emptied the true extent of my toiletry buying became very obvious. Added to that those in cupboards, cellar, bottom of the wardrobes.

I am not a big toiletry or make up fan. I don't go mad over the latest lipstick or must have hair oil. But I did have a major shopping issue and more importantly not being able to miss a bargain- because well it was cheap and so a bargain and so why not?

To set it in context I had 48 unused original source shower gels (the rationale- my teenagers use them and with a double bonus multi points offer coupon at Boots they were only 60p each). Of course i now see that these so called bargains actually come along all of the time.

Enough was enough. I had to take action. I had dozens of samples, loads of clinique, Lancome, elemis- all bought at bargain prices with free gifts etc etc

I took all of the cheap stuff to a car boot. I sold them at £1 each- some I made a profit on- some a loss but they had all been cheap at the time. I think that was about £200. I took the few unsold ones to the homeless shelter with loads of samples ( I mean I need to bring back all of the cheap shampoo from dozens of hotels dont I- its free- so why not? Did it make my hair great- hmmmm)

I sold all of the premium stuff on ebay. I think it was about £800 in total. With the various free gifts this about broke even I think.

I kept all of the open items and I spare of basics like shower gel. The only thing I kept multiples of was deodorant (I am unfussy about deodorant). Saying that a year later I still have 6 unused- so that was a mistake.

I then set about using up all of the part items. It took almost a year. I dont think I bought anything except foundation and cotton wool.

Last week I had the greatest thrill. I ran out of shampoo. Before I would have gone through my stash looking for something to fit the bill (all bought because they were a bargain). I went to Boots and I bought a shampoo- 1 only- not 5 - not the most reduced/biggest bargain. I chose a shampoo that was right for my hair this week. It was an amazing sense of relief.

I own 1 bottle of shampoo. I own 1 premium bath gel and 1 cheap bath foam. When they run out I will go and buy another one (just 1 not 10). It is very liberating.

I know this thread is about not buying. If I had just not bought it would have been 5 years maybe with the stuff hanging about and possibly going off. I had to get rid and I really don't regret a single item.
WOW you are an inspiration to us all!

watching the blackbirds make a nest.......mummy bird seems to be doing 95% of the gathering! I pulled up moss from a border and they are using that so cosy for the chicks.

DH is in my bad books as spent all Saturday(when it was sunny) in his office and did not do the garden jobs he had promised :(

had two emails today, one from ebayer asking if I would do a buy now on a 99p item that ends next week....thought that was a bit cheeky and one from an amazon book seller which started out okay as they apologised for the state of a book they sent and said they would refund BUT THEN asked I withdrew my 3* comment which they said was neutral and looked on as negative!!!!!thought that was very cheeky as what I said was true ,the book had a creased cover and a coffee stain so think 3* was a good mark.....what do you ladies think?

ta some Occitan hand scrub, bought last feb after hearing good reports but thought it overpriced and now the dregs have gone very sticky....get the same results with sugar and oil

uu Scholl heel cream def a fav I always have in stock for my poor old feet.

bought two eBay skirts, one a new East one(£6.70) that I was keen on for my hols and a surprise 99p monsoon one that just did not get anymore bids, think I should go back on the clothes challenge?????

Couple of small UU's. A Dermalogica calming mask sachet which I definitely WBA as my skin looks a lot better today. Also UU Sisley Black Rose face mask. WNBA, didn't really do anything tbh.

Been rifling through my stash and am confident that I don't need to buy anything this month and can probably get through next month without buying anything. I bought a PitRok last month and it's working really well so far so I shouldn't even need deoderant for the foreseeable future as these are supposed to last ages. If I can make it through March with a 0 spend I'll be uber chuffed!

    .

I want 3 bathrooms - I've only got one and it's tiny. There isn't even a bath in there any more, just a walk in shower.
