I've never seen the attraction in Johnny Depp but I am a Beckam fan too.
See now despite the hairbands and skirt wearing, I'd never class DB as pouty, he's always looked blokey despite all that. And yes, I have a thing for him as well..mmmmmm.......Thankyou luvlycake and dolly, my mum died a long time ago, when I was 11, she was only 45 bless her and it was breast cancer which got her. My sister has had skin cancer twice (completely unrelated to sun exposure) and was also diagnosed with BC when she was 40; thankfully, it was caught in its very early stages via a mammogram, she had a lumpectomy and a month of radiotherapy and is absolutely fine nowI will be referred to the BC clinic for yearly mammograms when I hit 40 too, looking forward to that immensely as you can imagine :rotfl:
Do me a favour? The next time you have five minutes to spare, I'd ask you all to give your girls a squeezeEarly detection and treatment makes SUCH a big difference with breast cancer!
So sorry Fizzy, I lost my mum to Bowel cancer when I was 23 and she was 53, horrid disease.
As for checking, I'm very touchy-feely with my chesticles anyway so nothing ever goes unnoticed! :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I'm actually getting really annoyed at the volume of stuff I've got and even more annoyed at myself for adding to it so much this month, although the stuff I did buy was stuff I really wanted to try or was stocking up on as was on offer.
I'm so ready to not buy anything in April.
It's funny though, how my opinions on HG products have changed so much lately. If I was to repost on the fave products thread (can't remember what it's called) a lot of my answers would be different alreadyNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. So sorry to hear of everyones loss - I lost my mum to ovarian cancer when I was 17 and find the whole mothers day run up particularly difficult despite it being 25 years ago.
Just a small UU to report:
Boots double sided cotton pads - WBA have one more in the stash but will need to restock soon but im attempting to UU some Kleenex cloths but they feel too much like cotton wool they make me wither. No more buying toiletries0 -

This business of changing HG's is one of the reasons that I don't buy lots of stuff in the sales, in glitches etc. In the past I have found products that I liked and then just HAD to buy loads of them, just in case they were discontinued etc, of course what happened was that I found somethings that I liked even better and then had drawerfulls of less than loved products that I had spent my (extremely) hard earned dosh on:( I suppose the only saving grace that I spent earnings and not loaded it all onto credit cards:D:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Just been catching up on the thread. Ladies you are all such a lovely bunch - as someone said earlier, this is so much more than a toiletries thread. I always look forward to and cherish my time catching up on here.
I'm so sorry to hear about the losses that so many people have experienced. It's so sad. I only recently found out what a selfie was as I don't really do social media either.
Moromir - loved your concealer and foundation run down/recommendations, was fab!!
1 UU (finally!)
40 - Clinique Moisture surge mini - WNBA, fine as a GWP but wouldn't buy.0 -

I don't think mine have really changed that much tbh, I keep buying stuff too and really knock it off for all non-essentials for quite some time!moneyless_mac wrote: »So sorry to hear of everyones loss - I lost my mum to ovarian cancer when I was 17 and find the whole mothers day run up particularly difficult despite it being 25 years ago.
I was relatively OK until the 10 year anniversary (in February 2012), but for some reason the loss of her is getting harder rather than easier in some respects, because I know she's not coming back, I know that sounds daft.....No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

So many of you have lost loved ones and at such young ages too, my heart goes out to you all.
I lost my step-mum 18 months ago, and I know it's not the same as losing a real mum, but she had been part of my life for 32 years.
I do think about her, not every day like I did at first but some days it just takes me by surprise.
Like today for instance, I went across to my Dads house (he used to live 3.5 hours away but moved opposite me last year!) and whilst I was there, I had this urge to open a cupboard where I knew some box files were kept. My reason? I just wanted to see my step-mums writing on the outside of the boxes! I go to Dads every day and I've never done it before, but today I HAD to look at her writing. How silly is that?
Also, a lot of my stash was her stash that she never had the time to use. I think that's what brought me to this thread, she never used all her lovely things and I don't want to be the same.
Ee getting all emotional tonight.
Anyway, I've waffled on enough, I do have some UUs but shall post about them tomorrow now.
