Sorry, but no. ;) I was also a teenager in the 90's/2000's and don't get the thing about Brad or Johnny (although there's something to be said for Captain Jack Sparrow...)

I've always had a bit of a thing for David Beckham and that man certainly does get better and better looking with age... wouldn't want him to speak to me though. *drool*

But I digress. Nothing to add to the actual thread from me. Plodding along as always. :D

Ah I'm with you on the johnny thing... However captain jack sparrow is definitely someone I could stare at for a while! Crazy how different one person can look!

Hello! Struggling to keep up with the thread this month, work is horrid.

STILL not managed to have that chocolate bath!! I have, however, painted my toe nails with the pretty champagne shimmer polish from Glamour a few months ago, which gave me a little lift - it's the small things :)

    UUs from past few days:

    62. Hello Kitty Liberty body butter 50ml - WNBA but would use if gifted, fine but not a fave.

    63. Sanctuary Luxury Bath Floar 75ml - WNBA, lovely roduct but repurposed as shower gel.

    64. John Frieda hair mask sachet 25ml - WMBA, lovely but poor VFM.

    65. Dior Instant Eye Make-up Remover 125ml - WDBA, think this may well be my HG! Non-greasy and removes every last speck of eye make-up very gently. Replaced with same.

    66. Kiehl's Midniught Recovery Concentrate 4ml - WNBA, this was too oily for my skin and started to leave it a bit congested so I resorted to using the last half of the bottle on my neck! Would be fab if you suffer from drier skin though I reckon. This tiny sample lasted me over a month!

And a(nother!) non-bought IN through the post yesterday:

    78. Urban Retreat The Moisturiser 7ml

Hope everyone's well, will try to catch up later!

I've never seen the attraction in Johnny Depp but I am a Beckam fan too. I think Jessie Pavelka is gorgeous and it is almost worth getting morbidly obese to have him come and help you get thin.

    I have a uu

Dove Go Fresh roll on deodorant - WBA, it did the job. I have other roll ons to use up for now though.

Sundaysgirl - thanks for the review of the Khiels Midnight Recovery, I have wanted to try this for ages and was planning on buying at some point but as my skin is so easily congested I don't think I'll bother.

Moromir - I agree with your thoughts on BB creams, I think if the western ones have the right coverage and work for your skin then fine but just ignore all the hype and silly claims. I like the Garnier Oil Free BB Cream it is very much like the Estee Lauder Invisible foundation as it glides on as a very thin liquid and blends so that you just can't see it. I use it in light and it is a good match and is completely different to the colour and texture of their original BB cream - oily and orange.

FizzWhizz -your poor sister having to go through that 3 times. Hope she is totally fit and well now.

Thankyou luvlycake and dolly, my mum died a long time ago, when I was 11, she was only 45 bless her and it was breast cancer which got her. My sister has had skin cancer twice (completely unrelated to sun exposure) and was also diagnosed with BC when she was 40; thankfully, it was caught in its very early stages via a mammogram, she had a lumpectomy and a month of radiotherapy and is absolutely fine now :) I will be referred to the BC clinic for yearly mammograms when I hit 40 too, looking forward to that immensely as you can imagine :rotfl:

Do me a favour? The next time you have five minutes to spare, I'd ask you all to give your girls a squeeze ;) Early detection and treatment makes SUCH a big difference with breast cancer! :)

    Mmmmm, Captain Jack Sparrow ;)
Never really had a thing for Brad, although I can see why some women would, it's Jack Black for me :p

Sorry for your loss Emsjune, sending cyber hugs your way x

I did the make up free selfie but it was no big deal for me as I only wear a little bit of make up maybe two or three days a week. I've always had terrible skin since I was a teen but was also deathly afraid of wearing foundation in case it made it worse. I suppose that's a good thing really as I reckon I could easily have got into the mindset, like you FizzWhizz, of being afraid to leave the house without a face on. Hugs to you too by the way. I know a couple of people who won't let anyone see them without make up on but I'm sure they're gorgeous without it, we tend to be a much harsher critic when it comes to ourselves.

    One small UU:

Murad eye cream, mini pot. Was ok, I like the fact that Murad are cruelty free but I wouldn't rush out to spend my cash on it as I imagine I could get something similar for less money.

    Hi all,

I've finally ventured off the naughty step after buying the Sanctuary Spa Heart box (10 items added to my collection, eek!)

Have 2 UUs: No.7 body cream (ok, nowt special WMBA) and Body Shop Orange body butter ( really orangy smell, average moisturisation WBA just for the fragrance)

Just Googled this out of curiosity and it's £57 for 15ml so I definitely won't be buying it. A fiver is more my price range for an eye cream :rotfl:

How do they justify prices like that?! (For the Murad). That is expletive ridiculous.
All my splutterers are still spluttering which is very MSE of them but frustrating too!

  • Slapped wrist time for me. Bought Nip+Fab Viper Venom Extreme Night Fix which I've had my eye on for a while. It was in TKMaxx so only £4.99 compared to the RRP of £22, but I have a night cream already waiting to be opened (though as it's just Lacura I think I might use this new stuff first!)
