I have bought something today too but not toiletry related. Have gone for the Yankee Candle TSV. Thought it was really good value and am pleased that for once they are selling the votives in pairs as I like to burn 2 at a time.

I bought more YC tarts yesterday. Maybe I need to find a "No More Candles" thread. :rotfl: I was in our local garden centre picking up some tea lights as I really like the Bolsius brand they sell when I saw the new YC tart gift sets. In my defence they were a good saving as there were 9 in the set and they worked out at £1.11 each plus they had the new fragrances in which will match the votives I have ordered.

That said, I do have a small stash of tarts already. MrM shamed me today though be clearing out under the kitchen sink about 6 YC large jars that have been burnt and out of which I was "planning" on breaking the wax up to melt in a burner. Now, that he has thrown them away though he may have justified a further spend!!

I got this set for my birthday in Jan. Have already UU the vanilla cake mix shower gel and the pecan scrub. Not started the lotion yet as have had another one on the go. Really loved the shower gel though, will be buying a full sized one once the stash has gone down a bit!

I have this set too! I haven't used any of the toiletries yet but ousted them from the tin so I could use it for my bath bombs! ;)
    An unexpected UU from tonight
Lush Prince Charming 500g WBA, hopefully they bring it out again for next Valentines day as it has a really nice fragrance.
On to some not so exciting shower gels now to get them out the stash, then will start another "nice" one again - maybe philosophy gingerbread cookie.

I still think that Philosophy is my most favourite brand of shower gel. There have not been many of the fragrances that I have not liked (it's been all the red coloured ones that I've disliked actually). Sadly I only have one at the mo which Emma keeps bringing out of the cupboard to use as well so I'll have to try and use up my fair share of it before it's gone.

Burt's Bees foot cream mini tube. Horrible stuff, glad to get rid of it, WDNBA! Smells nice but the texture is wrong, far too greasy.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. My son is at his first Beavers overnight camp tonight so I'll probably spend the majority of mine wondering what he's doing and whether he's ok until I finish work tomorrow!

Burts bees foot cream is probably the worst product I've ever used! The fragrance was lovely but way too greasy.

Hope your son enjoyed his time at camp.

Very behind after an awful week of a close bereavement and a horrible situation going on at work prior to that (and still looming once I go back). :(:(:( Come to catch up for a bit of normality and friendliness. This is so much more than a toiletries thread. :) Have some UU and IN to declare, will do that once I've caught up xx

Sorry to hear this emsjune. Take care. xx

Thanks to the poster who put the link re: Boots advice on sunscreen. I am very naughty and don't use any at all. However, I have made a point of pulling the tube of Ultasun SPF30 out of my bathroom cabinet and will try to remember to use from now on. I take it that I apply it on top of my moisturiser?

Must have a nosey at QVC and see when the next TSV or Ultasun day is as we used the facial one last year and it was fab.

Right, I'm off for a cup of tea and some TV. My Sky+ box is 97% full!!!! shock_zps1d5dbfe6.gif

I hate it when our box gets that full as it's usually my stuff that gets deleted to make room for more recordings. There seems to be too much stuff to watch at the moment though. x

Never mind Mr. Pitt have you seen the delicious Mr. Fitoussi with his rather fit French accent?! *Goes red* *Faints*

Sorry InaPickle, I don't even remember him. I do have a bit of a soft spot for Mr Pitt though and he usually eclipses everyone else on screen. x

Hi ladies. Have caught up with you all now. Went shopping yesterday, as I mentioned earlier, but other than the garden centre this was only to ASDA and Sainsbury's. In ASDA I didn't buy any toiletries however in Sainsbury's I had a go on a tombola for Sport Relief and won a can of Lynx Deodorant for MrM which reminded me that Emma had run out of her Sure Maximum deodorant so bought this from Sainsbury's. I also won a huge box of Dairy Milk which has made a big dint in the diet this weekend but hey ho. I haven't had a drink all weekend though.

    One more UU:-

Grace Cole Boutique Nectarine and Pear shower gel. I was given this has a gift at Christmas. I wouldn't choose to buy it myself. Whilst the fragrance is nice and the shower gel left my skin feeling very smooth (plus Emma kept using it in the bath and said the bubbles were plentiful) I didn't care for the texture which was very runny. Same goes for the matching body lotion which I'm going to try my hardest to UU as soon as possible.

Have finally got around to repainting my toe nails and am wearing Leighton Denny Leading Lilac which look lovely on my toes. On my finger nails I'm now wearing Sephora By OPI Break a Leg Warmer which is gorgeous battleship grey colour.

Everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Emsjune I'm so sorry to hear your sad news and that you're having a tough time at work. Hope things improve on the work front soon and that you can take some time to pamper and look after yourself.

I also liked the suncream advice link, thanks Kadison. I am going to have a look in Boots for a facial suncream to use over the summer period.

I really want to try the EL double wear foundation - I too am really pale and struggle to find the right foundation colour. Currently using the palest shade in Barry M Matte foundation and I am actually really impressed. The colour is perfect for me and doesn't oxidise - a real find for me! I bought Nars Sheer Glow earlier this year and am not impressed with it to be honest. It's ok but don't feel it is worth the price for me anyway. Heard so many rave reviews about it so I am guessing it is probably worth it for some people.

The Models Own speckle polish is still going strong - hardly any chips or tip wear. Really impressed despite the odd application.

No UU - so many splutterers but it has been a really slow month this month.

    1 IN -

71 - Cheap eye make up remover from Wilko's (can't remember the brand). Thought I would give this a go.

I am wondering when they'll bring out some new spring/summer ones, the only one I really like for summer is coconut frosting, all my others are very wintery!

That was me lyke :) As long as it's moisturising enough for you, I'd use it alone, I don't put anything on my skin in summer moisture wise except my spf cream. How old is the ultrasun? Don't forget the SPF halves every year it's open....

I have been naughty....yet again....I think it's because I'm going on hols in a few weeks, I keep 'treating' myself :o

There's a fab offer on the HoF site, buy two Lancome items and get a hooooge GWP worth £74, it's the biggest GWP I've seen for a Lancome purchase and that's saying something!

So I ordered a massive bottle of cleansing water (£25 for 200ml or £35 for 400ml - no-brainer) and a normal one of face scrub, in my defence, I am on my last tube of face scrub so *technically* I needed it.......:D

I may have already bought this. Boots had a very similar one in February and I bought that one too (oops). It's very good value.

    INS
    6 lancome GWP
Aussie luscious long conditioner (could have been far worse)
    UU's
Lush twilight shower gel 500g WDBA love this one HG for me.

Shoot for the stars ballistic WBA agian love the effects of this in the bath but not so much the scent.

    Melting snowman WBA

Vichy Idealia moisturiser 15 ml WNBA it was nice enough but did not wow me.

    Hi ladies
Sorry to hear about your news emsjune.

Lots of UUs for me, slowly I do feel like I'm getting somewhere with the stash now.

Hello Kitty art fabrics shower gel 200ml. This didn't last very long, but it was an interesting scent, I liked it. Lots more of the same brand in the stash.

Liz Earl C&P 30ml. This was nice to try, I prefer a scrub cleanser though.

Sanctuary salt scrub sachet 60ml. This is a greasy oily scrub, the kind I hate! but this was surprisingly lovely, really felt a difference in my skin! I have another sachet in my stash, but after that I shall buy some more!

Imperial leather bewitching? bubble bath. I like this, lovely purple colour, lots of bubbles, will probably buy again once I've got through my bubble bath stash, which is generally going down :)

Lush shower jelly. I forget the scent, the purple one. This had been in the stash for, ahem, a couple of years and i do not get on with these shower jellies, so in it went to my bubble bath. Smelled lovely though!

23 days and no unnecessary ins!

I can't remember who posted about the Balmi lip balms (sorry) but wondered where they got them from as they were a really good price? Thanks x
