  • Some IN's to declare, popped into Boots tonight as wanted to get 2 things...ended up with one more but it's all things I will use anyway.

Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm - heard mixed reviews on this, but really wanted to try it. Plus it's £3 off at the moment.

Garnier Micellar Water - everyone seems to be raving about this just now, so had to jump on the bandwagon..again on offer, I think 1/3 off.

Right Guard Woman Argan, Marula and Almond Oil Shower Gel - never heard of this before, but it looks really nice and was only 99p! Like I really need anymore Shower Gel!!!

Also picked up 2 No7 items with my skincare vouchers for my mum for Mother's day. Toner and Night Cream, just need to get the Day Cream tomorrow with the voucher I got tonight and her pressie is all done!

Something that just made me laugh...just used the glamglow mask, and my boyfriend afterwards said 'ooh you're skin looks all smooth, like plastic. Like it's not skin'. I think this is a good thing?!

    xx

That would definitely be classed as a compliment from my husband so I think you're ok ;)

    76. Vichy Liftactiv Advanced Filler 5ml - nice surprise freebie through the post

    77. Kleenex oil absorbing sheets - needed for my wedding day, going to trial them next week, fingers crossed!

Emsjune78 - so sorry to hear of your loss and the tough time you're having at work.

  • I've just picked up a Balmi rasberry lip balm, all mine are either coloured or finger application and this is more like the Eos ones and perfect for my late night walks back from swimming in the cold plus it's SPF 15 :) and on offer at £1.24 instead of £4.99

Very behind after an awful week of a close bereavement and a horrible situation going on at work prior to that (and still looming once I go back). :(:(:( Come to catch up for a bit of normality and friendliness. This is so much more than a toiletries thread. :) Have some UU and IN to declare, will do that once I've caught up xx

Emsjune, so sorry to hear this. You are right, it's much more than just toiletries.
All things must pass, good and bad, wishing you strength and comfort, may there be quick resolutions.

  • have a few ins..oops!

    Still.. They were a bargain..

I needed a new face wash so thought I would try a loreal 360 face wash I found in the 99p store, worth a go at that price!

    Then there is

2x Aussie long hair shampoo and conditioner

I didn't need them but couldn't resist as they were in pound world for the 250ml bottles I love the Aussie stuff and so does my hair! Still I only brought 2 when I wanted like 10... To stock... But then again that's why I'm here!

Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • I have spent loads this week for me on cosmetics

3 for 2 on revlon. I was nearly out of my bb cream so got a new one, I needed concealer so got that and a revlon mascara. Really disappointed in the mascara it just slips off and makes me look like a panda. Can anyone recommend a good, affordable animal friendly mascara?
I usually use Barry m but I run through them so quick, I'm sure the bottles are under filled.

I needed new makeup brushes and was thrilled with my lily lolo bargain brushes

I also bought a lily lolo pink lipstick. I never have lipsticks with pink tones but I'm so glad I bought it, it looks amazing on

I bought a really cute wipe clean makeup bag from poundland. I'm really pleased with it

I bought a new facial scrub (this was needed) for £2.49 which I thought was reasonable

Does anyone know where I can get cheap moschino perfume from? The smaller sizes. I can't find a bargain anywhere. I love the smell of pink bouquet although I hate the bottle, it looks like it belongs to barbie

Just back from work and had a project pan UU:

Clarins essential mint water one step purify cleanser (or something to tha effect- it's a mouthful!) WNBA it did its job but I have no use for it as I much prefer a cream or balm cleansers and a muslin cloth. It's good for lazy days but too expensive to repurchase for this reason!

I'm off tomorrow, for the first time in about 3 weeks as I work 7 days a week. I think I'll have a sort out and put together a proper stash list as I'm still not sure how many body lotions I have (but I definitely don't need to buy more!) and catch up on parks and rec:)

    Finally hugs to emsjune x
