    A UU from last night:

Lush Snowcake soap- WNBA- this was part of a lush gift set that my brother very thoughtfully bought for me for my birthday. The soap itself was ok but drying as I've found every single soap, lush or otherwise. The smell was pleasant enough but not to make me repurchase and I used it up so quickly it works out pretty expensive per use! He later admitted my aunt had to buy it because he couldn't stand the smell of the shop:rotfl:

Forgot to add a TA lacura lip balm- WBA but not this pearly pink one as it looked awful on my lips. Nice formula and I remember liking the milk and honey one (not sure if they still do it!) thrown away because it didn't survive the tumble drier (oops!)
    Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:13

    Evening ladies.

    Happy Birthday VickyA

    UU's
siren soap WNBA very messy to use.

Warrior sugar scrub WBA I have been saving this because I really like the scent.

SBC vitamin E gel WNBA nice enough and absorbs quickly, very easy to UU

Spa find bust extract 6ml WDNBA product had no postive things about it so glad it was a sample.

2 X cinders bath ballistics WBA I really like these and always stock up if they are in the sale.

One IN today :( Good Things Face The Day moisturiser. All the talk of SPF on here made me realise I've been using the Good Things Miracle Mattifier for a while and it doesn't contain any SPF at all. I'll start using FTD tomorrow so kind of a necessary purchase for the sake of my skin... That's how I'm justifying it anyway :D

Evening ladies, I hope everybody has had a good day. I am knackered as OH and I have laid the path in our little piece of woodland today. :) Happy birthday to VickyA and welcome back to TheOxfordOwl.

I have another use up from the original Project Pan list to report: the 50ml tube of Calvin Klein Escape Body Cream is finally gone! I'm pretty sure this was a freebie either from a goody bag or from a friend. It was nice enough and the scent was quite long lasting but I probably wouldn't buy it as I found it a little runny and not quite moisturising enough.

There are a few more splutterers so hopefully a couple more use ups will soon be on the way. Onwards and upwards! :p

    Happy birthday VickyA

Good to see you Oxford Owl - sounds like you have been really busy! Hope you have a bit of time to relax now.

Have just been going through all my lip products. Couldn't believe how many were still in the cellophane wrapping!!! Making a conscious effort to wear lipstick at the moment. Can't believe how many I have - going to work my way through them all and then the ones that I don't like/don't suit me I am going to give away.

    1 OUT -

Just threw away Benefit Bad Gal mini. Have been using this for a few months now, was still not too bad but felt like it had dried up a bit. Prefer They're Real and am moving on to a full size one of these now.

Sometimes it just has to be done! ;) It gets boring using the same things day in, day out otherwise. :o

HELP folks.......what's the best thing for strengthening nails? And stopping the edges of your fingers getting dry hard skin (is that your cuticles I never know, I'm rubbish with nails....doesn't stop me owning a million polishes though)

So......mine are all weak and bendy and ridges and a couple that I had glittery polish on still have a trace of blueness trying to keep them polish free just now but they are all white-dried-out looking and cracked :(

If the sides of your fingers are getting hard skin then try a pumistone?? on them during bath/shower time and a rich moisturizer in a pair of gloves should sort that within a few days, as for the stains, try a clear top coat, it should draw the colour out of your nails and after a few days take it off with polish and the blue should come off with it, if not give your nails a file over the top which should remove any really bad bits.

If your nails are snapping/breaking when they bend the problem isn't hardening them as this will make them more brittle, try a glass file and keep them shorter than usual for a few weeks whilst they rebuild themselves, also wear gloves when washing up/working in water and this makes them very dry and brittle.

I hope some of that helps x
