Hi everyone!
Well done lois lane, homealone, suggs and poohbear59 on your losses!!
Suggs, you must be so proud!
Sadly, i have a 2lb gain to reportTho i have been quite good meal-wise, and stuck to SW, my first week at work has been hard to adjust to, and resulted in numerous cups of coffee, store bought snacks etc, things my body just isnt used to. Was hoping that my exercise class would have balanced it out a bit more (who knows maybe it did and it could have been a worse gain!)
Anyway, gonna empty my purse so i have no cash for sneaky treats for the rest of the week and see how i get on.
Off to body balance (yoga/pilates/taichi) tonight!!
Hope everyone's well and having a good week!!

Sa1sysoo, sounds like an inaccurate reading to me. Can't blame you wanting to stay in bed in the mornings though - I hate getting up0
-
Speedy note to say that I've just weighed at the wrong end of the day (I usually weigh in the morning), with the wrong clothes on after having just eaten, and not yet gone to the toilet... meaning I've gained 5lbs!!
How's that for doing the monthly lose weight challenge in reverse?!:o
Hi Sa1sysoo - my weight fluctuates by at least 5lbs between getting up and going to bed, so it's more than likely down to what you've taken on board. Why don't you weigh yourself tomorrow morning, and I'll put you down as a maintain for this week. I'm not around tomorrow (I've got a meeting in Scotland on the train and I won't be back until 10pm) so whatever your result is, add it on to next week's and I'll include it then.

I have lost 3lb this week, which is good news for me and means I have now lost 10STONE :j I will with MrsSuggs permission continue to the holiday. So I will bask in my achievement for a little while then head to the gym
Thank you to all you guys for all your help. I truly mean it
Went to the gym and thank you for all the nice messages. It really does mean a hell of a lot to me. I have added something to my signature to sort of 'celebrate' not sure if I can bear it been up too long thoughTarget is nearly in sight am going to push for 4 more pound in the next couple of week, its another milestone to hit. Maintaining though I will be happy to be as I put "18 and single figures"

okay, a follow up to my post earlier about not having scales
i got to work (new job, wahoo) and theres loads of scales there (i work in a hospital doing research) but my problem is that i usually weigh myself nekkid (eep) and cant do that at work, so i weighed myself with my clothes on - turns out i am the same weight as last week unclothed!
what do you think i can do to figure out what my actual loss is? i dont think i can weigh my clothescomping sporadically since 14.07.07

Evening all :hello:
Well, what a great week! Some excellent achievements - well done Suggs for your fantastic 10 stone loss, and to Starlight for your brilliant 6 stones! :T
Lots of people have achieved the July challenge, still with a week to go: Ajax, Bindiboo, Brighton Belle, Efrieze, Emptypocketz, Erlqueen, Homealone, Lubo, Mistywoo, Newlywed, and Suggs. :T
And Slimmer of the Week is Homealone, with an impressive 3kg (6.6lbs) loss - well done. :T
Well done to everyone - whether you've lost, maintained or gained - you've stuck with us, so give yourself a pat on the back.
If I've missed anyone, or got anything wrong, please let me know.
See you Friday.

... salsysoo I would totally echo this. Theer are too many variables in your result, it's not a fair appraisal. Take a better reading in the morning - no point beating yourself up over a gain that doesn't exist - and trust me - it doesn't exist, certainly not to that level.
I actually weigh a pound and a half less just by going to sleep. Someone work that out for me!!!0 -
Starlight, MrsA is going to join WW. We are due to weigh in at SW tomorrow, and she will tell the new consultant that it's the end of the road for her.
She's worked out (thanks to you fantastic breakdown) that she will get 25 points to use. If a decent glass of WW wine is one point, she can fill her boots and still get by food wise. In this case I think it is a case of better the devil you don't know. Thank you again.
By the way - I would get 32 points to use, judging by your scale. If WW works for her, and I get all these extras, I may become a convert. Watch this space lol.0 -
so on that chart, is the goal the goal for the month? or for the week? If its for the month can i put myself down for 10lbs for next month? Im hoping for 3lbs or so a week but leaving a little margin for any error lol. I just dont want to still be looking a fatty when i move in 4 1/2 weeks. I want to meet new people looking half decent!0
