    After saying all that, I'd rather be toned like xena warrior princess, than 8 stone of bone :)

    ......ooooh, now yer talkin' ;)

    Ta for all who suggested re MrsA. Starlight I have two questions for you - how many points do you get a day on WW, and how many points is half a bottle of wine?

    Thanks Lubo for reminding me about curly wurlys. I used to buy them and for some reason forgot all about them, doh. Found another chocolate fix as well. Cadburys light chocolate mousse is only 60 cals and they are really nice.
    Well done all losers and maintainers.

    Hi Peeps

    Totally off subject, but as a few you lovely folks have been feeling a tad down I've managed to find a copy of a spoof phone call that I heard yesterday on the radio, it really brightened my day. It involves an 8yr old Irish girl Becky Barry asking for a demolition company to knock her school down :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I thought it would help to lift spirits and help anyone to forget for a couple of minutes if they gained weight :D

    I hope it does the trick

    Hi everyone, congratulations to all the losers and maintainers.

    I have lost 1lb, despite DH bringing home choccies and crisps last night. I ate 6 maltezers. Thats a first for me as I would have polished off the whole bag in the past. I am listening to the Paul Mackenna cd most days when I remember. The only bad point is that I can't drink Guiness any more. I tried again at the weekend and a half sits beside me all evening, untouched.

    Ta for all who suggested re MrsA. Starlight I have two questions for you - how many points do you get a day on WW, and how many points is half a bottle of wine?

    The points you get depends on a number of things:

    Are you:
    Female = Score 3
    Male = Score 9

    Are you a breastfeeding mother?
    No = Score 0
    Yes, breastfeeding exclusively = Score 10
    Yes, supplementing breastfeeding with solid foods = Score 5

    How old are you?
    16 - 20 = Score 5
    21 - 35 = Score 4
    36 - 50 = Score 3
    51 - 65 = Score 2
    Over 65 = Score 1

    How many stones do you weigh?
    Ignore the lb, the number of stones is your score for this question. Someone who weights 12st 4lb will score 12

    How tall are you?
    Under 5ft 4ins = Score 1
    5ft 4ins or above = Score 2

    In your day to day life are you:
    Sitting down most of the time = Score 0
    Occasionally sitting, but mainly standing = Score 2
    Walking most of the time = Score 4
    Doing physically hard work most of the time = Score 6

    Add all the sections together and thats your daily allowance.

    Wine varies, a glass of light or low alcohol is half a point, Regular medium sized glass is 2 points, and a medium glass of WW wine is 1 point

    Hope that helps :)
