    Hi All,

Just a quickie as I'm knackered and need to get some sleep. Wedding was brilliant last night - just the right amount of good food, alcohol, dancing and scandal (gossip). I ate far too much and lost track today. Weighed in yesterday and was a maintain so it doesn't matter too much that I missed the chart this week. Have only one week to go till I go on hols (to Soggy Bundoran, Co. Donegal!) so I'm going for it this week as I'm sure calorie counting is going to be difficult with my mum and family there too (much alcohol imbibed I'm sure as no-one has to drive home!).

Welcome all new posters and Well done to this weeks losers!

    Day one beckons tomorrow.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Wow what a wonderful welcome  thankyou so much

i have had the most mentally stressfull day due to problems with my eldest does anyone know anything about adhd or simliar , i would be grateful.

Anyway through it all i stuck to my weightloss plan and as i cannot be weighed at the moment i took my start of a new life measurements this morning .

    They are :
Bust 63" i'll keep these thanks lol
    Waist 57"
    Hips 74"

Starlight - wtg on the 80lbs loss thats amazing :T

Kyle - i love the beach so i'm pleased i live on the coast hope u had a great time , as for the sugar cravings have you tryed a sugar free jelly , i keep one in the fridge as my worst time is a night and if i really must have something i then dont feel guilty about it or honeydew melon or grapes are really good too , you get the sweet taste but not the calories the grapes are really lovely frozen and because u have to suck them they take longer to eat so u feel fuller , u can do this with bananas too wrap them in foil first , ooo dont try apple it just turns into icy mush .

Victory - Denied foods do seem more exciting and gorgeous , why dont you allow yourself a small treat of what u love after u have been weighed.

Oops a daisy - Your right people can be so unkind but we aint gonna let them beat us.

Petrichor - Dont cry , i have shed far to many tears than nessary about it and it always boils down to the one thing if i dont help me no-one else can my family have tryed everything to help me they are totally amazing and i'd stay this way forever to keep then safe but i know they wouldnt hear of it so in some ways i am the luckest person alive because without family and friends what is there in this world.

Ajaxgezzer - Thanks for the hug :rotfl:

Suggs - I read your story it was one of the reasons that made me post on here , what u have done is truly amazing 10 stone loss :T

    Hi all,
I've skipped weighing this week (SO stressed) please help me get back on track. I lost 4lbs last week which was fab, but I must stop letting bad habits creep back in!

You skipped the weigh in but maybe there was good news to be had? If you weighed yourself you could see what is happening, how well you are doing or what little adjustments you need to make....

The trick to keep going is the focus of something coming up and the reasons you started it in the first place, if you lost 4 lb last week you have done something fantastically well, you shoul be very proud, you know how to do it, you know you can succeed, keep going, you can remember the elation last week when you got on the scales and were 4 lb down, would you not want that for yourself this week/next week?

Keep thinking why you are doing it, keep in mind you can do it, keep the food diary going, drink the water, keep up the exercise, watch the portion sizes, take your eye off the ball and it does creep back in...

You are a superb weight loss achiever, keep going and the sky is the limit:D

LydiaShopia just to let you know I am doing rubbish on the challenge. 5 glasses so far this week so only 2 left until Monday. Well done for not having any, I am going to have to be strict with myself tonight and Saturday.

Playing in the ladies club championship Sunday, 36 holes medal and I have not played for a couple of weeks. Will need to get some practice in.

    Lubo/Sa1sysoo,

Its funny how should mention the 11stone mark as that is what I am now....dead on 11 stone.

I lost a bit of weight last year (tbh I have yo-yo'd between 10.9-11.7 for the past 3 years) and I always find to get under 11st a struggle.

Maybe we should egg each other on to get underneath that figure! I really really really want to get to 10.7 as my first target, but I think to loose another 1lb is going to be really hard as I have lost 4lb in 2 weeks and it gets harder....

    Good luck guys xx

I'm up for any sort of competition/encouragement that will get me below 11 stone, especially if it means it'll last more than a day:rotfl:
