Lose Weight 13

Hello folks, good to be back after an intensive training course, albeit with a confession that I'm not going to weigh in tonight because I'm a scaredy-cat.
Sigh... I needed a glass of wine last night to relax and a glass turned into two bottles. On top of that I had no option but to have the corporate buffet sandwiches for all of the days lunches. I got on my scales this morning and had put 5 lbs on
I feel like a big fat heffalump.
On the plus side I'm now a six sigma yellow belt, whatever that means lol
PS Katmad I haven't forgotten about doing the green days plan, I just haven't been around... I'll do that during the day.0 -
Morning all
Have got weigh in tonight but not hopeful as had one of those weeks. Sat and Sun taken up by DS's footie so burgers etc only food available. Monday got back on track, had a good tea then DS came home from karate complaining his hand was hurting (the one he broke a while back) so 3 hours in casualty to find out it was Ok. the x-ray did show it was not fully healed tho so will have to be careful
Had to have bar of chocolate, then crisps due to boredom whilst waiting.
On a plus made the lamb burgers, in SW mag this month, last night and went down very well with everyone.
Today I have an exam in ECDL and then next week I have 3 exams. Trying to practice but keep getting distracted - hence on here:rotfl:
Victory I too have to clean all the house before going away.:o Hence the mop in hand as going out of door. Couldnt bear to leave a mucky kitchen floor:rotfl: OH things I am mad:D
Well done to all losers (lots of you) and maintainers.
Oh well back to it...

TallGirl - I though we were going to have a no alcohol challenge?
Maybe I got that wrong. I haven't had a drink since Sunday - am feeling like one but will last out til Friday.Lydia

Can I join? I started to lost weight in January and up till a couple of months ago, lost 14lb and went from a size 16 to a 14. However, kids got chicken pox, then they were ill (seperate illness) then me and DH were ill so the whole watching my food intake went completely out the window. I am sure I have put on some weight since but have not weighed myself... I have started to get back into it over the last week and want to carry on. I want to lose at least another 2 stone. I go trampolining 1 night every week, I really enjoy this. I am now trying to push myself to go out for walks with the kids, one in a pushchair, the other walks...(slowly!) does this still count as exercise? I think logging my weight on here may give me more of an incentive to lose weight!0

Evening all :hello:
What a busy week! Welcome to all the newcomers - it's great that this thread is getting so well known, stick with us!
Well done to everyone that lost this week, and as usual, commiserations if you gained. I'm pleased to say that I lost 1lb this week, which I'm happy with. If I can do the same for the next 2 weeks I'll get the July target, and I'm determined to do it.
Slimmer of the Week goes to Maniac, with a whopping 8lb weight loss.
And ...to who have all achieved the July target.
If I've missed anyone, please let me know.
Have a good week everyone
LL
Thanks Lois for the chart once again together with a lovely smiley...
...Well done Maniac for SOTW  ...
...and to Ajaz, Bindiboo, Efrieze and Suggs for already achieving this months target :T :T :T ...
...Lois I've noticed that you missed out last weeks loss of 1.2lbs that I mentioned (right at the bottom of the post, you perhaps fell asleep by the time you'd got to the bottom)....My total loss this month so far is 2lbs... Don't go to the bother of amending the chart, I've only this minute realised that it wasn't on last weeks chart(don't know what I could have been thinking) sorry it's me again, I'm going to give myself a stern talking to!!!

Hi Peeps :hello:
First of all a bigto tiredmum, Lainie and JHKE This is a really great support group ad I wish you success!
Hi All
My name is Lainie (Elaine) i'm a 32 yr old single parent of two , i recently started a weightloss support group on msn called The Fat Free Friends Club , i did this as i really need daily support and i posted it in here not thinking but after reading lots of the posts over the past few days i have realised that you are a very good support group and so if it is possible i would like to join.....
........so this is why i need daily support , i can be fine for days and then the urge hits me it must be what a drug taker / alcholic feels like its an incredialbe need , must have and yet i give in to it and everytime i know it wil make me feel worse , so here i am again making a stand i have to learn its eat to live , not live to eat , i want my life back and i'm taking it with both hands , for a long time i thought i was worthless and some sort of evil monster because al i could see was the fat but now i know i am a nice person , i am worth it (dont sue me loreal) and i do love myself i dont like what i have done but i do forgive myself for it , whats done is done , its what i'm gonna do next that matters.
thankyou for listening i know it was a bit long
Take care all
i will be back in the morning with my measurements
Lainie x
...I don't want to this to appear to be trite, but I was in tears when I read your post Lanie. Why can't we just have one problem at a time not a whole host of the darned things, I think you are a wonderful person to be able to have coped the way that you have done so far :T. As Victory said earlier everyone here is treated with the respect they deserve and if you are having an off day, just post away here and get whatever it is off your chest (I've done more than my fair share of that) we all hit bad patches so you're not alone. This thread is full of lovely peeps (in fact I'm bordering on superpeedom but I'm far too modest to tell you
:rotfl: ). I look forward to reading more from you, please stay with us :j ...
... Hey!!! beanies back :j I hope you had a great holiday :j ...
...right! I'm going to go and do my garlic beans and I may be gone for some time...
