    Good afternoon everyone.

I've been onto the weightwatchers website but can't find out how many points I'm allowed a day. I did have the bumpf from a couple of years ago but I have a funny feeling I gave it to someone "because I didn't need it anymore" lol.

I wonder if I can ask a big favour of someone who has the bumpf if they could tell me how many points I should have a day? My weight is currently 13st 6lbs, height 5ft 5ins, and age 47 - oh and I'm female. If you need more info let me know.

    Many thanks

    Lesley

I am sure most of you professional dieters know about this but I found out yesterday that blueberries are very low calorie/pointed. A whole box of blueberries (300g) is just 100 calories or 1.5 points (I think) and I could never eat a whole box but I often pick at them from the fridge. I thought that might be worth sharing.

Did anyone see Cook yourself thin on Channel 4? Few tips on there - low fat carborna and especially for low fat chocolate truffles!! recipes on channel4.com ;)

It's all about reducing the calories while not compromising on taste. I found it quite good and plan to try the carbonora - OH says he's guinea pig again!!! :D

Hi, I want to report a loss of 1 lb. I am getting a bit miffed that the weight loss is so slow, considering how quickly I managed to gain it! I have had less chance to exercise recently too as gym is closed, there are cows where I usually walk (I am terrified of them), I got a phone call this morning to say pool is closed too. I am going to try to resurrect the exercise bike tonight and start using it daily again.

All my family are really skinny and two have manual jobs and I am trying to lose weight on a healthy eating plan so I don't have to cook separate evening meals. I wondered if anyone else has tried doing this and if they have had success. I think one of my problems may be that I am putting too much on my plate so I am trying to use a slightly smaller plate.

My head is hung in shame :o

After my initial thrill at loosing 1.5 lbs I have put it back on again and am back to whre I started! it was all down to seeing an old friend on sat and sharing (5) bottles of wine between us and a chinese EEK!

Back on track this week though, have to remembetr that just because you are going out doesn't mean I can eat the whole menu!

Only two big facts are known for certain: you are on a large, spinning rock hurtling through lonely space at about 67,000 mph, and one day your body is going to die. Will a new pair of shoes really help? :p

Weight at lightbulb moment 13 7lb
goal for Christmas 12 7lb! :rotfl:

....Oh, and by adjusting your eating you can increase the amount of human growth hormone your body produces. I asked her why doctors treating children for restricted growth didn't know that instead of using medication. I think that's when she really went off me. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So I'll count calories, be careful of fats, and maybe have some SW red days or green days. I wish I hadn't thrown away my SW booklets in disgust when I put all the weight back on.

I was so pleased to read this granny :T What a weird set up, but it saddens me to think that some desperate people will be taken in by it all.

...Well done to all of you that have had such fabulous losses afsha beard, Suggs, rustynash, bindiboo and poohbear:j :j :j this gives loads of inspiration to us all. Well done too Lois :j for not gaining and to bails for not gaining as much you thought, BTW I thought that moolah was perhaps some exotic Indian dish as you're going there soon :o mind you I should love to know how to make some money as well :rotfl: ...

...newlywed Thanks for that link :T I'll give it a browse when I'm finished here as it sounds just like the stuff I try to do, but I hadn't heard of that program...
